Celtic were very casual today, but Hamilton couldn't have done less if they tried. One chance within the first 30 seconds and absolutely nothing the next 90 minutes.
Very odd situation with Boyata. I'm surprised he played today and the reaction to the goal was odd. Boyata didn't react to scoring, but every player ran the length of the park to congratulate him. That isn't normal.
Was that to try and integrate Boyata back into the team, or was that the players siding with Boyata after his public situation with Rogers?
The Celtic players don't appear to be applying themselves 100% at the moment.

Celtic looked poor, yet got the 3 points. Panto villan Boyata scoring the winner.
Motherwell v Rangers was 100mph stuff. Rangers faded in the 2nd half. The rangers sub at the end was a schoolboy mistake.
Hearts top of the league. I've got no time for Levein, but 3 out of 3, fair play to the guy.
Ayr Utd starting this season like they did last season, banging in the goals. 4 away games for them in September, lets see how they hold up.

Notice when Hearts scored the players ran toward the bench to celebrate and Levein was expecting them to jump on him. They ignored him and went to the assistant. It was never a red card for Killie.Motherwell v Rangers was 100mph stuff. Rangers faded in the 2nd half. The rangers sub at the end was a schoolboy mistake.

Celtic were poor, but still completely controlled the game. It still felt inevitable.
Motherwell v Rangers was a good game. Good to see two teams so committed and giving it their all. Motherwell were the better team.
Hopefully find out Murrayfield or Hampden decision soon. Will it be today do we reckon?
I’d love to see Scotland play to the biggest possible stadium selling for every game. Murrayfield for the biggest, Glasgow’s big stadia for the nearly biggest, then take the other ones round the country for me.

I don't like Hampden, but I'm still not convinced about using Murrayfield for football. I’d love to see Scotland play to the biggest possible stadium selling for every game. Murrayfield for the biggest, Glasgow’s big stadia for the nearly biggest, then take the other ones round the country for me.
The other risk about planning games in bigger or smaller stadiums is at the risk of having a good or bad qualifying performance. Do well and planning another trip to Aberdeen would limit the crowd, pick Celtic park whilst doing badly and the place will be half empty.
Predictable dithering. For all it's history, Hampden is a dump, and would probably need over 20 million spent to redevelop into a modern medium size arena. Using Celtic Park for biggest games, then Ibrox, Hibs, Hearts or Aberdeen according to the likely attendance. Murrayfield for cup finals or if a neutral venue was required. Sticking with an archaic facility because it good atmosphere once every 10 years is not a good enough reason. The museum can go to a nice new building somewhere in central Glasgow if need be, and attract more visitors and raise more money.
I'm not surprised that they bottled announcing a decision today, to be expected of the SFA. Its probably because on paper its clear they should leave hampden and move to murrayfield. But they either dont want to be the one to announce that, so in the interim are getting their story straight as to why they are staying at a crappy hampden!

I thought it would have been Lafferty but Morellos is as bad to be honest!
That’s his first (legitimate) career red card I think.Incredible result on the night, and similarly incredible to join a handful of teams who have made it to the group stages from first qualifying.
Start of the season will be weird if Rangers are in Europe and Celtic are aff it so let’s hope the east end see it oot
The Hampden situation shows just what a joke the SFA are.
Are they really serious about giving up the national stadium or is it some sort of Baldrick style cunning plan where they threaten to leave in the hope Queens Park cut the rent or give them the stadium for free? Or they flash their knickers at Murrayfield and the SRU again hoping they get a favourable (cheap) deal?
OK it's not the best stadium in the world - if you are behind the goals - but it's the home of scottish football, a neutral stadium and in Glasgow. To throw that away is very short sighted.

Not sure what they’re up to. Classic SFA!

Murrayfield is neutral
It’s in Glasgow - so? Murrayfield has far better transport links.
You might guess I’m all for Murrayfield

I'm a traditionalist when it comes to fitba, scotland games get played at Hampden, the cup final gets played at Hampden.
Moving both of those to a rugby ground would be like golf moving from st andrews to that course in Aberdeen that Trump built and proclaiming it's the home of golf.
Anyway, Edinburgh already has a castle and the trams.
