I don't sit at a desk all day as part of my job, but if you think that sort of thing is acceptable and appropriate in 2018 then you're a bigger clown thank I thought. But then again, you're a Weegie.
It's absolutely acceptable. It was a perfectly legal organised march overseen by police. You don't like it, which is fine, but don't expect anyone to care. And can you leave out the casual bigotry based on my city. I'm not calling you an AIDs ridden junkie.

But isn't not bigotry. Sectarian hatred is predominently a west coast issue - fact.
We'll never agree so let's drop this topic.

What nonsense? Union Jacks or paramilitary groups? You seem to be conflating the two quite regularly.
I’m pro expression of patriotism, but anti terrorism. Surely that goes without saying
You're pro-expression of patriotism? Are you forgetting the discussions we've had over the years in the Scottish independence thread?I’m pro expression of patriotism, but anti terrorism. Surely that goes without saying
Anyway... I'm going to stop discussing this issue with you and laughing boy because you're both too small-minded and oblivious to the world outwith G51 to have a meaningful discussion.
I consider there to be a difference between nationalism and patriotism. I’m patriotic, proud of my country, and happy for anyone to show they are too. I’m anti hatred. Be it hatred of Catholics, Tories, English, women, Hibs fans, Huns, and I don’t think I’ve ever given anything other than that impression. If you think I’m not, it’s probably because you have based your impression of me not on what I type on here, but with the assumption that I’m a small-minded bigot BECAUSE I am a Rangers fan.
You sir, have a problem.
I’m here to discuss and assist you whenever you have collected your toys.

You called me a clown because I'm from Glasgow. It seems it's OK for some to generalise based on where you're from. Fortunately I'm not minded to get all offended about it because I'm an adult, and can accept people have different views, even when I don't like them. But isn't not bigotry. And if you remember this all started because it kicked off in your city.

Looking at the table, it's amazing how quickly things can change, with the two Edinburgh clubs seemingly in retreat while the likes of Aberdeen, Killie and St. Johnstone march upwards. Could do with Celtic hitting a bad patch just to keep things tight heading into the festive period.
Best league in years.
The fact that Killie, the Dons and St J are doing it with tiny budgets and Livingstone after promotion and the terrible appointment of KM as manager is heartening for Scotish football.Best league in years.
If we could get the National Team moving in the right direction it would be even better.
I can’t work the national team out just now. A lot of very tough friendlies have made Eck’s win rate ridiculously low, but there’s definitely a team in there. Hopefully we can get 4 or 6 points from these two games and get some feel good factor.
There’s no right backs in the squad at present - Ryan Fraser or Forrest wing back? Personally I’d put Tierney RB of a 4. The majority (or all?) of the players are most used to a 4. That way we’re not shoehorning in two of our best players out of position, and we don’t have to play 3 centre backs when we probably have least talent in this position.

Anyone else less happy about Fletcher being called up? Surely he's filling a place a young guy with plenty of years ahead of him could have had?

It's like the good old days when Danny McGrain was played out of position to accomodate Sandy JardineAnyone else less happy about Fletcher being called up? Surely he's filling a place a young guy with plenty of years ahead of him could have had?
FWIW, if Scotland plays 4-4-2, I'd play Tierney @ LB & Robertson @ LW
You guys are old
I might try Robertson left wing. Has he done it before? It’s different to playing LB, less space to receive ball and you’re often playing with back to goal. Not got anyone to play RB this time though unless it’s CalPat and he’s been playing centre forward recently.
Not fussed either way about Fletcher’s inclusion, all will be well if he plays well. I’d start him before McBurnie just now, more experienced in this sort of situation.

Its a real shame that we have 2 quality players in the same position and a severe lack in other positions. There’s no right backs in the squad at present - Ryan Fraser or Forrest wing back? It wouldn't matter what the opposition was like as Isreal proved!
Big Eck was a terrible appointment probably led by the fact no one of any quality wanted it for the peanuts they were offering, asking the NI manager to jump ship for LESS money than he was already on was typical of an incompetent SFA.
Sacking Strachan when he was building up a head of steam has set the national team back years!
I thought Berti, Burley and Levein were terrible appointments. You need someone with knowledge of Scottish football and knowledge of setting teams up with success against European opposition IMO. Walter Smith, Eck and Strachan all fit that bill.
McLeish’s stock is a bit lower this time I suppose. Is he perhaps a bit further behind the times? Nobody in the staff seems particularly inspiring either.
PS Israel aren’t a bad side tbh - plenty of good quality players at big clubs. I’d like to think we can do them over though.

Israel are ranked 91 by FIFA and the 3 you mentioned are right up there with big Eck imo.McLeish’s stock is a bit lower this time I suppose. Is he perhaps a bit further behind the times? Nobody in the staff seems particularly inspiring either.

Didn't see that coming.
Watching from afar and no commentary, I'm missing a few things.
Quality goals by Fraser and Forest.
The penalty looked really soft. I guess it's one you'd always be happy to get, but never argue that it wasn't given.
Why was Forrest's goal disallowed? Did Bates touch it?
The sending off looked merited. Bad challenge followed by another headbutt on Christie.
Robertson is a fine player, but I'm not sure he's a captain.
Is Paterson wearing that moustache as a bet?
