Interesting that you link my post to my being a Rangers fan and can’t separate the two. Prejudice much?

As I understand it nobody was hurt, and I’m glad that is the case. It was shocking and totally irresponsible behaviour. We have laws based on consequences in this country and thankfully there were no serious consequences, hence my littering comment. I trust he will be punished appropriately as we can’t have eejits launching stuff about football stadia.
You initially complained about the subject being brought up, then tried to write it off as “littering”, your fellow Rangers fan then felt compelled to use child abuse as a point scoring excercise

It would appear that the attitude of “the people” has rubbed off on you and your compatriot, I’d suggest making your peace with it or change your behaviour lest you be tarnished with the same brush

Knowing after the event that it struck a child and writing it off as “littering” inidicates the mindset at play
I applaud your concern for the children...

If it wasn't for bitter, childish, tit for tat point scoring you'd not be bothering your arse either.

I'll just sweep it back under the carpet where you like it then. As you were, back to the Rangers bashing.

Why would you like to discuss historical sexual abuse on the football forum when the only reason you care is to have a go at Celtic in a vile manner?

Most of your contribution to the football threads over the years is to head down this line. It's only ever tit for tat st with you.

Look at the reaction of the Rangers fans when the accusations came to Rangers and their management much more recently. They couldn't even afford for the accusations to be taken seriously as that would end their vile berating.

It's a really sad way of point scoring over rival fans. If there was any actual care for sexual abuse and children it wouldn't be a point scoring exercise.

Talking of sweeping it under the carpet the most recent claim against rangers about child sex abuse has been met with passing the buck to the liquidators which would seem to suggest that the club believes that there is a NEW club and an old one that is responsible for past indiscretions!

Would one of you start an Old Firm thread or something, so you can fling ste at each other to your hearts' content without the rest of us having to read it?

Nice mixed metaphor hehe

Anyway, you’re wrong.

I didn’t complain about the subject being brought up: I was requesting that you bring some of your own opinion to the discussion instead of a mere regurgitation of a news report. I also didn’t try to write it off: I offered my opinion that it was stupid, irresponsible and unacceptable behaviour, but also that in this case the consequences were minor.

Reckon Lennon’s coat is on a shoogly peg if he loses today? I’ve never really felt that would be the case, due to his overall record, but recent form and results are not good.

I doubt they'd sack him just yet. The poor run isn't too long yet, but I can see him walking away if he feels the players aren't giving 100%

I love your use of 'historical' as mitigation. Either way, the crimes may be historical but the court case is current. And it's very obviously related to Scottish football, given that it involved Scottish footballers at a Scottish football club. It's somewhat incredible it doesn't get a mention here, yet some Rangers fans throws a bottle and everyone jumps in in condemnation.

Good to know who the vile one is though. Not the paedo, not the paedo harbourers, but some guy who thinks it worthy of comment.

Yeah just in a wee rut at present. Perhaps since the Aberdeen quarter final? I watched that game but haven’t seen much since then. He’s always an interesting character and trying different tactics/mind games with the players which I like to observe. This glass ceiling recently for example.

Aye, he's the best manager we've had since God knows when.

I don't think he's too impressed with the way heads go down when things go against us.

I'd be astonished if they sack him. They would have to slide into relegation contention for that to happen.

Killie right in the mix now and working largely under the radar, with Hearts grabbing headlines in the early season and the old firm on form now.

Rangers will be either 1st, 2nd or 4th after the match tomorrow lunchtime. That’s tight at the top eh. Looking a bit ominous down the bottom after Hamilton’s win today.

Is it tighter because of improvement by the lower teams, or the top teams going backwards? Probably a bit of both...

Aberdeen made a real game of it but the Celtic winning machine keeps on going.
