Is it tighter because of improvement by the lower teams, or the top teams going backwards? Probably a bit of both...
Celtic making a bad start had made things look closer.

Hearts good start has long died a death.

Killie are about the only team to have improved over last season.

Hopefully GMS is ok. It looked very serious at the time and the player's reactions say it all. There is some disturbing images and his face isn't the shape it should be.

Dallas had a shocker today. Although Mcinnes' bleating about Christie was uncalled for. Ferguson and Lowe should have been long sent off.

I'm not really for VAR, but the penalty call was terrible. It was neither an intentional handball or in the box. You can't get things that wrong. Luckily the game didn't rest on that decision.

Aberdeen got their tactics correct. They were very aggressive and knocked Celtic off their game. They just didn't have the quality up top.

As for bad decisions from the refs, my god how bad was the offside call for Moreloss' goal? As said it was so blatant it was an inexcusable error.

Hearts looked decent for the first 15-20 minutes then regressed into their shell. Rangers could have won by a few more if Moreloss took the chances that came his way.

I've not seen the rest yet.

Yes, other than the league leaders. But I’m sure you knew that and have neglected to mention for some reason.

Are Rangers any better off than their points total last year?

A few weeks ago they were only equalling Pedro's total and before it was the worst start ever.

Any improvement is solely down to McGregor. He's saved your skin a lot.

Where exactly did I say that?

What was the points total at this time last year?
The lineman gifted another two points today.

Celtic's bad start has given Rangers false hope. It's still a poor team.

When you said that Kilmarnock are the only improved team.

By my maths Rangers are 6 points better off after 14 games vs last season. They’re also top if the league. They’ve also played 11 more games in Europe vs last season

That’s known, by any stretch of the imagination, as improvement.

I didn't say Rangers were worse. I said if they had improved it was down to McGregor. He's been in great form and made another quality save again today.

Not as good as Djoum's clearance. That was an incredible header. Sadly it was a shambles from the corner.

If Rangers are 6 points better(It was equal a couple of weeks ago) then McGregor is the man worth those points. He has proven me wrong and silenced all the fans who moaned when be jumped the sinking ship.

In a week where goading was a big topic, why is Moreloss goading Hearts fans? It was St Mirren the other week too.

Nobody blamed Moreloss for St Mirren throwing coins, but Celtic are at fault for Rangers fans charging?

I don't get these double standards.

Am glad we’re in agreement now that Rangers have improved. Thanks for clarifying. I hope you can see why I was confused by your contradictory statements.

McGregor is worth points for sure. I think we look a little better throughout the pitch, with greater strength in depth.

FWIW my view on goading fans has, I believe, remained constant. I think it’s generally not a well advised course of action whether you’re Freddy Morelos, Neil Lennon, Leigh Griffiths, Kris Boyd, whoever. It’s sad that we might lose that bit of banter and connection, so hopefully the idiots can be weeded out of the crowds and we can have some friendly banter at each others’ expense again.

Morelos has only 1 ‘s’, btw.

I think McGregor has saved Rangers from being a mid table club. The table is very up and down this year. The quality of the football has been poor, but the effort is there. It does overstep the mark too often and another red today. You can't criticise the effort level.

I genuinely laughed at loud at Boyd a few weeks ago. It was totally in context and it was done in a funny manner. It wasn't done in an aggressive manner.Lennon I get. He's taken 90 minutes of abuse and returned it. He still shouldn't do it.

Morelos(sorry) I don't see why he makes such an effort. He ran all the way past the Rangers fans the other week to goad St Mirren and again today he headed to the Hearts fans. Why?

Ooft. Just heard what Levein had to say. I can see him being charged. He is correct though. The officials had a shocker today, but you can't call them cheats.

I read the Rangers' AGM were more concerned about Celtic's celebrations. Massive debts ignored and focussing on this. Massive smokescreen.

The irony meter went off the scale when King made an issue of having to buy shares off organised criminals. Pot and kettle for a man that has how many charges for fraud?
laugh

It's amusing.

OK, so what were the reasons you think Aberdeen should have had two players sent off. Yes I watched the game and also saw clearly Boyota made a very poor challenge in the box after McKay Steven had headed the ball.
