Pretty settled side for the last two games there. An assortment of thoughts from back to front:
We have a few decent keepers - not a problem.
Taylor didn’t disgrace himself at LB but Robertson/Tierney will take his spot if fit.
I like Palmer at right back and I think he’s a much better option than O’Donnell or one of the LBs. Centre halves - fk knows. Stick with 3 youngish ones and let them learn I suppose. Not like we can buy anyone.
Jack & McGregor excellent midfielders and give a nice balance, McTominay real quality should chap on the door. Likewise Fleck, He should challenge too if fit but I don’t think he has the experience or composure of the aforementioned.
Forrest and Christie effective, with Fraser an awesome alternative.
McGinn has to get a jersey now, maybe a fully firing Armstrong pushes McGinn to a more defensive position. If Naisy gets a bit of legs back he will remain an asset.

From The BBC.
Scotland will find out on Friday which of Bulgaria, Hungary, Israel or Romania they will face at Hampden in their Euro 2020 play-off semi-final in late March.
Should they win that one-off tie, Steve Clarke's side would face either Norway or Serbia in a one-legged final, with the home team also decided on Friday.
The semi-final will be on Thursday, 26 March, with the final five days later.
If they qualify for the tournament, Scotland would be in England's group, with the sides meeting at Wembley.
I've not being paying enough attention to see how this has all been working.
The potential draw isn't that bad. Certainly possible.

who we play out of the 4 teams will be decided by a draw on friday.
but uefa have put a last minute possible change- in that scotland hungary and romania are all ‘host nations’ of the 2020 tournament. so they may allow us (as euro nations league winners) to be drawn against either of them, as to give each host nation a chance to qualify and play euro 2020 games at home.
which would be good as it then means we potentially could only draw bulgaria or israel, which is much rather have in our first play off.
as for last nights game, seems like a fairly settled formation. couple of options where we can switch players into each position if need be. but reasonable performance, some good goals. also there seemed to be some fight in the players, going for all 50/50 balls, playing right up until the final whistle, still chasing everything.
hopefully the spfl try and help out with the fixtures in the run up to march. but i’m confident, big hampden crowd will do a lot to help the first play-off!! bring it on!!!!

First half last night against Borat FC I was thinking, here we go again. I've go to the point of laughing at the performance rather than being wound up.
The second half had me happier leaving Hampden than what I probably have been in a long while. Something clicked and everything looked a bit different. No doubt at the moment that McGinn is the man - work rate, talent, attitude, an example to the rest.
Just a pity that as things start to build (regardless of the quality of opposition) there is no more game time together before March.

I love the draw, probably the best team we could’ve hoped for.
Not great to have the final game at home, but i’ll take it. We now have 2 games to make it our first major tournament since ‘98, against opposition that we should be beating.
I have faith! see you all at hampden in March!!

What a cracking away day that was, 8 or 9 pubs on way to the ground all packed.
The joy of the cup! Had a wee watch of St Mirren vs Ross County on Alba and that was fairly embarrassing as a technical spectacle.Hamilton had a good go at Rangers today and weren’t quite able to make a few breaks count. Quality let them down, and Rangers showed what they lacked last year and had a bit of special talent from Kent to make the difference.

The service was crap, the decor a bit rough, but the food was very impressive. Right up there with the best Indian food in Scotland.

They were too scared to make it a game. When they made an effort to attack they created chances and should have scored another couple at least. Fine goal by Kent, but he was poor otherwise.
Hamilton just didn't learn in the first half. They allowed Rangers, and especially Jack, freedom to shot from outside the box.
A bit more belief and they wouldn't have lost today.
