Just reading the news that the guy that scored Copenhagen's first goal has been charged with assaulting a police officer whilst celebrating his goal.

I did notice at the time a police officer looked angry, but I didn't see why.

Another coach has been charged too.
Looked more like the cop was assaulting the player to me.

It's a real shame as I agree, looks like Rangers may just miss out on that Champions League slot now. Still, a lot of good work done for the coefficient and another decent show next year will help again, both for our clubs and the national team. Anything that puts more money into the club structure, and raises the profile of Scottish football (in a positive way) is welcome news.
Surely that depends on Basel and Olympiakos both progressing? Wolves should destroy Olympiakos and we need to see who Basel will play but I think they need to make the final to have an impact on the coefficient.

Arsenal were certain the beat them too......

I watched the highlights later on. What a miss by Arsenal with about the last kick of the ball in extra time.

I thought the criticism of Luiz was harsh for the winning goal. It did look as if he pulled back, but he was never getting there.

That was the first time I seen it. The camera angle doesn't quite capture all that went on, but it was a push.

I'm sure as football fans we dismiss that as overexuberance. You couldn't do that to a police officer on the high street. laugh

Fair point about Arsenal.

Being overtaken also assumes Rangers not contributing any further points to the total.

I think you'll find the only time the word "exuberance" can be used in relation to events at football matches is in relation to that famous day: 21 May 2016.

Can't believe you guys think it's ok to beat up Rangers fans.

Offside before the dive there.

Hibs have had 7 penalties this season. They've scored 4 and failed with the other 2.

BBC maths. laugh

Failed with 3 now.

That is one heck of a mighty inference...a wrong one too.

It's all getting a bit angry here.

Hearts will be kicking themselves they haven't got the lead here. By far the better team.

Some really iffy referring decisions certainly hasn't helped them. How on earth was the handball for the penalty missed? It was blatantly obvious. It should also have been a red as was Jack's tackle.

It was a handball for the goal, but I don't think the ref seen that.

One of the worst refs I have ever seen. The only surprise was he never have the penalty to Kent which wasn't a penalty.

My money was on Hearts too. I knew they would win today.

Hearts have won 5 of 25 games. Falkirk, Airdrie, St Mirren and Rangers twice.

Hearts fully deserved to win and it should have been more comfortable than 1-0. Hearts winning saves all the talk about the ref. He clearly had been sent a memo.

Hard to believe Rangers beat Braga. Wasn't Edmundson man of the match? Today he looked like someone who had never played football before.

Have the players downed tools to get Gerrard out? What was the story about Morelos? What did he get dropped for?
