There are also some very supportive tweets, should we ignore them? Im saying that as a Celtic supporter by the way.
Any single act of racism will rightly be highlighted and pulled up. Even the ones that have been hard to detect or idiots that say stupid stuff in the heat of the moment. For so many people to attack their own club and black players is beyond words. Were any other players forced to speak out against their own fans? I've not seen any other fans react as poorly.
This was a meaningless friendly, a while after the BLM anger had died, and watched by a handful of people. Everyone must have realised that players would be taking the knee like every other club. The reaction is staggering.

Hearts & Partick Thistle relegations confirmed by arbitration panel
Important to remember that Hearts weren't relegated because of COVID, they were relegated because they were rank all season.
I didn't see Partick play last season but can only imagine they were bang awful as well.

Finally confirmed then that the league can kick off this weekend, Covid testing permitting.
Given that the arbitration panel included one representative from each side, and an independent, a unanimous decision suggests there wasn't much of a case to answer. Anyway, we move on and into the hurly burly of the season ahead.

Just bizarre to see the EPL finish yesterday and we're off with the new season this weekend.Given that the arbitration panel included one representative from each side, and an independent, a unanimous decision suggests there wasn't much of a case to answer. Cannot bloody wait!!
It'll be good to see it back. It will still be strange under current conditions.
Concerning there has been mess ups and delays with tests hampering games.
I thought with the season starting earlier teams would be better prepared for Europe. It looks like the early rounds will still be when teams are rusty and the single tie games could lead to more shocks.

As a Hearts fan completely scunnered by the whole matter I won’t comment on their case, but to point out the lack of fairness I will disagree on Partick. They may well have been awful but when the leagues were called they were 2 points off the bottom with a game in hand. Hearts & Partick Thistle relegations confirmed by arbitration panel

If you compare the English Championship, of the 6 bottom teams when there were 6 matches remaining only 1 ended up being relegated.
Some sort of reconstruction to ensure no harm to any member club could surely have been found were it not for the appalling self interest shown by virtually every club in the SPFL.
The leadership of the SPFL is an embarrassment and this is now reflected in Scottish football in general - further evidenced by comments made after today’s verdict. If ever there was a time for humility this is it but all we get is smugness and talk of vindication.
If Ross County or St Mirren had been in the place of Hearts, none of this would have happened.
I agree the SPFL is very far from perfect but this year has been an exceptional circumastance. As it happens there have been 4 months ot discussions about whether to reconstruct or not. The proposition was overwhelmingly rejected by the clubs, and the deciosion unanimously validated by the arbitration. The new season kicks of on Saturday.

No argument, but very interesting that’s the only comment you made on my post.
If you expanded on your point to explain what is embarrassing and why that reflects on Scottish football I would maybe have said more. I didn't really get your point. The SPFL board have been getting the blame for a lot of things, even things that were totally out of their control.
I don't think the results of the vote were ever released? I think quite a few clubs were for reconstruction. Hearts' own self interest plan put clubs off reconstruction earlier. Their chopping and changing was just desperate. If they had a good plan to start with, rather that their own self interest, maybe they would have gained more backing.

Sounds like a plan.
For added interest we could make our 1-12 predictions for the league too. Need to be in by noon on Saturday though.
What about the scoring? 1 point for a correct result and 3 for a correct score? For added interest we could make our 1-12 predictions for the league too. Need to be in by noon on Saturday though.
How do you score league positions, or will that be just more for reference?
