Kris Boyde is an appalling Pundit!
Think what you want, he's right

Rangers had a plan, stuck to it and dominated.

Celtic were awful
You're right about a Celtic but dominated is a bit of a stretch!
I don't know what game Boyd was watching. He is unbearable listening. Even McCoist said Rangers forward players offered nothing.

Celtic were woeful, but Rangers still didn't exactly dominate the game. They just didn't have to face that much dangerous play. On the odd occasion Celtic did move forward they got in behind Rangers' defence rather easily.

It's not as if Rangers created much more. Both goals should have been avoided too.

I think we controlled the game, we never looked in danger at all once it went to 2-0. It looked like Celtic were content to coast to a 2-0 defeat, no fight in them.

0-2 score line at home to Rangers doesn’t lie.

Even without the players who were unavailable, Celtic should be able to field a team capable of beating this (no disrespect) less than stellar Rangers team.

The early ending of last season and playing without fans must be a huge demotivating factor. But Lennon sometimes makes strange selections and formations that simply fly in the face of logic and reason. Over the course of a full length season they should be ok and I’m not too worried about the outcome, but this season can be brought to an end at any instant so he needs to get the team going properly ASAP.

Rangers managed the game really well and never really got out of second gear. Celtic didn't offer anything and it was a really comfortable win away from home. Big questions for Celtic now as most of their team didn't look interested despite the significance of this season.

Europa League again tonight.

Edouard isn't fit. How hard has Covid hit him? Bitton sounds as if he took really unwell.

I can't see anything other than a Milan win with so many players out.

Every club must ste themselves when they get drawn against Rangers. Last year all the managers got the sack, this year the other teams are all catching Covid.

I think all Celtic can hope for is a reaction from Saturday. Milan will surely have way to much class for a depeleted hoops squad.

All going swimingly for Les Blues - the seas appear to be parting in front of them at the moment.

Not really much to talk about.

It was a handball, but completely accidental and didn't stop any risk.

They ref gave a handball against the Standard attacker when it clearly landed on his shoulder. He then missed when their attacker played the ball with his hand off the bar. Seemed harsh to book McGregor for not being happy about it.

I thought Hagi was lucky not to get a red.

Can the pitch last another 25 minutes with that rain?

This just looks like a recipe for game changing mistakes and/or injuries.

Great result, not the best display however its the score that counts. What a goal at the end though!!!

There was a bit of handbags at the end too. Did Roofe make an A with his fingers after he scored? Something from his time at Anderlecht?

Edit to add, big one for Celtic now, can they dig in and pull out a result? I can see them shaking off the old firm defeat and getting something from this.

Yeah he did. The home fans were giving him abuse for the Anderlecht connection before he scored so fair enough rubbing it in, a card for it seemed a bit harsh.
