That's another thing. This whole Prod/Catholic stuff that has followed both clubs for years. Do a majority of supporters even give a toss about religion these days? Now, he's perhaps not always been treated fairly, but you're suggesting that he is hated for a particular reason.
For me, that particular reason is not the place he was born, the colour of his t-shirt (or hair), but his actions. It's absolutely to do with his conduct

I strongly dislike Morelos' conduct on the part. His petulance and sulky attitude. His cowardly off the ball kicks, stamps and elbows keep happening.

Didn't he threaten to 'take a knife' to his mistress when she threatened to speak out, after he'd tried to pay her off? Didn't he receive several touchlines bans for his behaviour at Celtic last time around?

Sorry do you have to be a regular subscriber and posted to the thread to be able to engage in a wind up, we’ve had 9 years of taking abuse and wind ups of Celtic fans rather than give them the pleasure of the reply I just didn’t post, now the shoe is on the other foot you can bet your bottom dollar it’s coming back with interest. If you can give it but not take it back an open forum might not be the best place for you

It was a simple question based on your response to me. You've taken the effort to make a few posts to justify your view that he is "despicable excuse for a human being". That's an exceptional statement and you clearly feel strong about this.
You don't need to list everything he's done wrong, but add a little substance to the hatred. You have to have genuine reasons to feel as strongly as you do.
It's genuinely the first time I've heard about the knife incident. As far as I can see all you're basing that on is tabloid rumours. The incident allegedly happended and the unnamed women told the tabloid about alleged recordings she had. It reads as if she's taken the story to the tabloid press, but not the police.
There isn't any evidence.
Shouldn't he be treated innocent until proven guilty?
Loads of managers get touchline bans.

Why would you deflect from me talking about Kent to bring Lennon into a conversation that wasn't happening? You seem unusually occupied by Lennon. Be honest.

I agree with many of the comments that have been posted. Lennon is a disgusting individual and I've taken a great deal of pleasure in the way the season has unfolded for him. I have no doubt if the the results went the other way he would feel the same. He's shown himself to be a bad loser and a terrible winner over the years. We hear a lot about how brave the guy is but he has ducked out of the old firm game. A chance for him to perhaps end our unbeaten run and he's walked away.

The level hatred of Lennon by some folk on here is off the scale ridiculous. The reasons / excuses are pathetic. Did I read the words “reprehensible” and “utterly disgusting”? I can understand a competitive dislike, but in the footballing sphere, what can you possibly do that would warrant this description? Some people need a word with themselves. Especially those who may have celebrated El Hadji Diouf when he was in blue.
