Of course I do. How many of the thousands who caused the damage were there to help today then?
There is zero chance there was thousands of people causing damage. A small number of aholes in a huge crowd.scoopdydoo said:
How many of the thousands will self isolate for 2 weeks given the high risk situation they put themselves in?
Probably about the same % of them that will isolate after attending the "sack Neil Lemon" riots a couple of weeks ago.scoopdydoo said:
Whatever way you look at it or try to paint it, it was a despicable situation that the rest of the country has come to expect from them win or lose
Yeah lets pretend Celtic wouldn't have had mass gatherings and inevitably ended up with some people causing trouble if they'd won 10iar last night At least they were so st this season we'll never get to see what a celebration from them looks like. If you think they'd have behaved themselves... there's multiple incidents from the last few weeks to show they clearly wouldn't have. Both teams have passionate fans and there is no doubt there was going to be a party whoever won this year. Just like what happened in Liverpool last year. Both teams have fans that do stupid things, like yesterday and like the Lennon protests.
Personally, I blame celtic for not putting up a better fight and staying in contention for longer.

Perhaps there might have been some gatherings given 10IAR was something that had never been done before. I doubt it would have been on the scale we saw last night as we're quite used to winning. But then given it is their first title, it is expected some might go over the top as it's something they've not experienced before and perhaps haven't learned how to control themselves sufficiently yet.
With regards to the couple of hundred or so at the protests, Celtic fans were warned to stay away time and time again by the police and via the media. If the police knew events were to take place yesterday why were they not warned to stay away?
Will players need to self isolate given they were taking scarves from fans through the dressing room window?
Should Slavia Prague be asking questions about player safety?

That goes both ways though... its never done before and we stopped you doing it. It was worth celebrating.scoopdydoo said:

Now you're just lying.scoopdydoo said:

If you want I can go pick out handfuls of photos and news articles of Celtic fans misbehaving, both home and abroad? I think its great that the tims now have nothing better to do than blame us, whilst being fuming they didn't even have a chance to inevitably let their own ahole fans out to cause some trouble due to Lemons incompetence.scoopdydoo said:

There was not a thing anyone could have done to stop the 10iar related celebrations - whether we stopped it or you won it. Every single person gathering at either stadium recently knew full well they shouldn't have been there. A tweet from the clubs wasn't going to stop them.scoopdydoo said:

Yes they should now all isolate after accepting an item from someone... just like they should isolate after doing their shopping, going through a McDonalds drive through, buying a bus ticket etc You're trying far too hard to be offended about something.Should Slavia Prague be asking questions about player safety?

Sorry to disappoint but I'm not offended. The only offence comes when thousands sing about being up to their knees in my blood, the wonderful lot they are. We can debate a hypothetical Celtic 10IAR and what celebrations there might have been or but let's deal in facts shall we.
I'm only asking the questions that the rest of civil society is. How many events have there been in Georges Square over the years without the damage? Breaking memorial benches and people urinating on the very statues they were out 'protecting' a few months ago.
Thousands break lockdown rules and nothing is done, it seems we should all just give up because if there is enough of us the police will do nothing.
A slap in the face to everyone who's lost someone or not seen loved ones in months.

This is exactly how public order policing works... there is not a thing the cops can do when there is a relatively peaceful event like that. All the can do is try and contain it and deal with any serious offences as they come up. They couldn't even stop Celtics far smaller gatherings at their own stadium recently either. They'd just make the problem worse by going in heavy handed on people who weren't doing anything wrong outside of the cover breach itself.A slap in the face to everyone who's lost someone or not seen loved ones in months.
If 10 people break the lockdown rules its very easy to deal with. If a thousand or 10 thousand do it there's nothing at all that can be done.
How low?
Absolutely incredible levels of delusion shown:
“Every Rangers fan* wanted Gerrard sacked last summer” and “Celtic fans don’t and wouldn’t have mass gatherings during pandemic” are my absolute favourites. Keep them coming
* that I’ve talked to, or on a poll on a Rangers website I read, or that doesn’t exist

I hope there's no trouble at the Celtic game but sadly I think its going to be inevitable. I can't see celtic fans staying away and letting rangers fans celebrate and there's not a hope in hell we can mix in the streets and there not be chaos.
Might need a curfew or something that day. A lockdown lockdown. What a day out yesterday, after deleting my previous Gerrard out posts from last year, buying as much cheap drink as possible I made my way to George square , it was magical until a police officer looked at me the wrong way so I threw a bench at him while shouting ftp.
Great day, hopefully we get docked 3 points so we can win the league and do it all over again.

- sarcasm for the permanently offended yet shamed by nothing Celtic contingent.
