There's talk that The Rangers are looking to recruit the Iceland manager.

And if they can't get him, then they'll try Farmfoods.

Rangers were in £16m debt at the end of June. The end of June won't include their summer signings.

They say they require another £4m to see this season out.

Will that include money to pay off Pedro and bring in a new manager?

How will they fund another rebuild?

Sounds like debt is getting out of control.

What scenario would it take to finally get rid of that mob

RE: the rangers accounts. Relying on loans from directors to make end meet, does that not make them fall foul of the FFP rules? Or is the 'loan' thing a way of getting round it. A bit like the EBT 'loans'?

or are the FFP rules a UEFA thing that only comes under scrutiny if the club are playing in europe? I can't imagine the SFA/SPFL putting Rangers under pressure to comply with any financial rules.

also did Dave King not recently claim in court that he's skint and all his funds are tied up in funds that he doesn't have direct control over?

it's never going to happen.

Look at whats happened over the last 5 years. Rangers were liquidated, all the papers reported it was the end. Less than 6 months later the club/company/relegation myth was born as Charles Green had to sell shares in the new company. All the media fell into line saying its the same club.

Almost every week in the media there's an interview with an ex player or manger who rolls out the same lines to a compliant media. Rangers shouldn't have been relegated. Scottish football needs a strong Rangers. The EBT's gave Rangers no advantage. 140+ years history, etc, etc.

Anyone who goes against this is subject to bullying and threats.

Spot on.

At times it's hilarious. Grown adults pretending it never happened.

The Scottish Football Association has made an official approach to its Northern Ireland counterparts for permission to speak to Michael O'Neill.

O'Neill, 48, is the SFA's preferred candidate to succeed Gordon Strachan as Scotland manager.

Total comedy. A bit of a shame they didn't get their man though as he would have been another complete waste of their precious time and money

What a dirty, undermining, backstabbing childish statement that reeks of sour grapes.

Rangers wanted McInnes and McInnes badly wanted to go to Rangers. I'm sure his reasons for not going to Rangers are very similar to why he turned down Sunderland. It's a poisoned chalice with no chance of success. The club is a complete mess.

They issue a statement like that and then are surprised that no decent manager will touch the job? Self-important buffoons.
