I wish I could say the same but you never even got close to City, did you?

Have they not cleared the bomb threat from the United thread, you seem to be in here a lot? Or are you just basking in our reflective glory, hoping that some may stick to you?
First threat of any kind at Old Trafford this season.

Oh dear, oh dear. Finished below Arsenal again.

Still don't think your squad needs any improvement? rofl

Would love to see that exact squad go again next year, but with the added expectation and pressure of playing in the CL where you're going to get a tough group! 5th/6th would be by betting.

Unless I hear an apology from the manager or players I will henceforth no longer be a Spurs supporter.

Unacceptable display and as far as I'm concerned an insult to each and every Spurs supporter.

If they gave a st, they'd have been working their nuts off for this result to finish second.

Leicester next season then? Or Citeh?

Hey hey hey! The one thing you could never call a Spurs supporter is a glory hunter!

Was nailed on to finish like that. Since the Chelsea game, all the players heads have totally gone. Hopefully, that is mainly due to the naivety of a young side.

But, we def need better options in some positions. Mason/Chadli/Carroll/Davies probably not good enough.

Overall, great season spoiled by lack of concentration at the end. COYS

Has anyone on here said the squad doesn't need improving?

Yes. I had a discussion with a couple of chaps on here a few weeks ago who reckon with a bit of coaching from Poch this squad will win the league. Then the Chelsea game happened and I haven't heard much from them since?

I don't remember that at all. I think with the natural progression of the players then they should get better, but the squad is and only has been about 14/15 players deep anyway.

Wether that's good enough to win the league then who knows, but improvements should be sought every season, even if you win everything.

I've been reading this thread recently and can't remember anyone saying Spurs would actually win the league either this season or the next. What Spurs fan would be so stupid?

It was me. The conversation was not quite as cut and dried as that but still.......but it we are in the business of remembering conversations, it was chrisb92 who was rather demeaning about the FA Cup. I guess he won't be watching this weekend then, or maybe the Tuesday night game is more important, for the extra money?

You seemed to think a bit of coaching from Poch and you'd stay in the mix for the title. Won't happen, football doesn't work like that. I'm not going into it again with you. Let's just see how the summer pans out and watch next season unfold.

I'll watch the FA Cup yeah, but I won't shed a tear if we don't win. The FA Cup has lost some of its magic in my opinion, I don't get why that bothers you so much?

No no, you obviously misread. I said that Spurs could improve with coaching from the manager because there is a great deal of improvement and progression from some of their younger players still to come. Also, Spurs have even more of a window to improve now, having finished third.

Yesterday was painful, today at work even more so but the nucleus of the team is there, few signings over the summer, bit of Poch magic and we could be really challenging for the top next year. Its a nip and a tuck for our team, other teams need complete rebuilding.

Looking forward to the CL...COYS
