How much is this kid worth eh ?
We'll do well to keep him if he keeps banging em in for fun.
Hopefully when he sees people like Hugo staying and signing new deals it shows him that it's a club he can stay at and is keeping it's star players. We'll do well to keep him if he keeps banging em in for fun.

Hard to believe HR left him out of his top Prem managers thread .It's the things Neville points out in that article that are the difference between us retaining talent and being used as a stepping stone.
Development, opportunity, individual coaching, nurturing, the players can see the wheels in motion and where it is heading, jumping ship for instant success and cash is always going to be an issue until we become the super-club we are heading towards being, but having the methods and facilities in place must make a guy really wonder if the grass is really greener over the fence, I can think of no other reason Llloris is still here.

I don't think that is always necessarily true, Justin. I've been privileged to know a few professional footballers and a surprising amount would put other considerations above money in their list of priorities. Of course for a lot, cold hard cash will be the be all and end all but for many, settled kids, a nice house in a good area, being close to family etc will count for a lot more than yuou might think. And the manager will be a big factor too.
We did look a bit leggy towards the end of the game yesterday, but i guess that's understandable & i guess we would have settled for these two results this time last week with no major player injury, two games in four days is crazy. I think we really missed Alli in midfield, i'm still uncertain about Mason.
Mason isn't really up to it. Id have played Lamella personally.
We were clearly running on empty in the second half. A point after the week we had wasn't a disaster, but it does show we haven't the strength in depth of our competitors.
Thankfully a week off this week which has come at the right time.
P.s what a complete arse of a kick off time Sunday at midday is.

Howdy chaps - not popped by in a while. Still, as I'm here, thought I'd show you guys this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-... - seems we're not the only ones to get bent over by strikers!
