I think you need to have a very liberal definition of World class to include Carrick in the group. Granted Utd play much better when he plays, as do we when Hendo plays (another under-rated player IMO). But for me, World class is the group of Gerrard, Scholes, Zidane, Lampard, etc. Carrick isn't not in that group - he's in a very large group of "just" very good players.

We were saying hes not far off. Gerrard scholes and lampartd were all world class midfielders no doubt. Carrick was just off that. Hes certainly still the best midfielder at manyoo. As for Henderson im just going to assume that's a typo.

All those negative net transfer spend windows, the increased revenue from the TV deal, increased match day revenue (once there) and stadium naming rights. HTH.
And are you not doing a deal with the American Football lot? There's plenty of money around...if you were to pick a time to build a stadium it would be now.
On a very rough basis there's an extra:
30+m on matchday revenue
50m on TV deal from Sky
There's likely to be at least the odd year of CL money...call it 30m
15m per year more on the new shirt deal
So that's an extra 100m+ a year just from that stuff. Money has already been spent on the stadium...it's not like they need 750m from now.

Great story bro. So you won't need to borrow any money? We were told that a £350m(or something like that)facility had been agreed, should we need it. But we don't know if that option has been taken up or not.
But without a doubt we've obviously saved loads of cash over the last 5 years from not spending heavily, not paying huge wages and selling academy products for large profits.
Add the NFL deal, huge TV revenues, increasing sponsorship deals, future sponsorship deals and the future naming right deal and it's looking very promising indeed.
You shouldn't be surprised if we come out of the build phase with very manageable debt indeed.
