How fking typical is that.
Utter st all season then beat the best team in the division with a team full of reserves.
Gotta love the Hammers.
COYI.
If the effort levels of the players AND the crowd had been anything like they were tonight it wouldn't have been a st season.Utter st all season then beat the best team in the division with a team full of reserves.

Enjoyed that, great performances across the park and Lanzini scores yet again in a derby.

The London stadium sounded realy lively last night from my armchair.
Bloody West Ham again .
Really strange performance from your lot last night. Started full of confidence and movement and quick passing was excellent, but from around the 60 minute mark seemed to drain and resorted to long ball too often, by the end we were deserving of more than just a 1-nil.Bloody West Ham again .
You've had a great season though, and one you can be proud of.

Shame we can't get it to sound like that every week Bloody West Ham again .
I guess most of the tourists were in the West End watching Lion King
Still quite a few empty seats dotted around though.

I real thought we would win last night & i have to thank my sensible son for not letting me lump on the spurs last night.
I have to say that is is the first time i have watched West Ham play this season where the Stadium has actually looked like a football stadium.
West Ham showed terrific spirit last night & Reid is a very good centre half. For me Demeble is by far & away the best player in our team & when he's not 100% fit we struggle.
Best wishes for the rest of the season.

(Bet you weren't thinking that last August!)

The empty seats were because it was a Friday evening and people have other things to do. Also it was live on Sky. I wish the matches were still held at the traditional 3pm on Saturday.I guess most of the tourists were in the West End watching Lion King

Normally I'd agree re the 15:00 KO's, however today I'm enjoying the post-win, knowing that the work is done for the weekend. TCEvo said:

Yes, finally we can relax knowing we will still be in the Premiership next season. Moving on I would stick with Slav but we must buy wisely in the summer. Last time we seemed to buy average players. Still can't believe we paid £20m for Ayew.

Ayew's been ok recently and was full of work last night; was an odd signing though and £20m a lot of dosh for him.

I got excited looking at the table, until I realised that most of the teams around us have 2 or 3 (S'hmpton) games in hand.

Agree Ayew is OK, a decent squad player but never worth £20m.Ayew's been ok recently and was full of work last night; was an odd signing though and £20m a lot of dosh for him.

+1.I'd extend his contract by a year or 2. This summer is going to be interesting, the squad needs overhauling with possibly a bit of a clearout. Much as I rate our first choice front 2, AC and Sakho, they simply just don't play enough and the second string aren't up to the required standard.
I don't claim to know who to replace them with but the EPL is all about goals and without a 15/20 goal man teams struggle.
