I just doubled the minority.

I like it too. It does look a bit training top like, but I think it's nice.

I really want the Thames Ironworks kit, but not keen to pay £55 for it. Hopefully it will get reduced like last season's kits have been biggrin.

I like it also but perhaps a V neck may look a little better.

That's the only shirt I bought last season, very rarely buy them. Purchased the last home shirt for Boleyn.

Gobsmacked that they've let Sam Howes go.Cherry picked from Palace at 10 ( believe we may have paid money for him ) and he's been the golden boy all through the ages, and been in all the England squads even as recently as late last year at under 19's. This Nathan Trott we got early 2016 from Bermuda must be a hell of a goalkeeping prospect to have gone ahead of Howes in the pecking order. He's a nice lad, hope he gets fixed up quickly and goes on to good things.
Nice to see Jordan Spence has signed a new two year deal with Ipswich today.

Fixtures released, ours until end of Oct:

Man U (A); S'hmtpon (H); N'cstle (A); H'field (H); WBA (A); Spuds (H); Swans (H); Burn (A); BHA (H); Palace (A)

I'll take those; although I believe that the first 3 will be played away (whether it's the same teams) due to the Stadium hosting sportsday.

Summer trip to the 'Toon then - think I'll look at tickets for that one.

Edited to add first actual home game isn't until 9 Sept - that takes the piss.

Chaps not wishing to hijack the thread, but can anyone recommend somewhere to have a pint near the stadium, but away from Westfield?

This season I've drunk in the Railway on Windmill Lane and the Builders Arms on Stratford High Street - both are walking distance to the Stadium; the Bow Bells on Bow Road (nr. the DLR station (go to Pudding Mill Lane DLR & walk)to the Stadium from there) is a WH pub on matchdays and there's also Little Driver a bit further down the road. All are standard London pubs.

Closest is the Podium Bar, which is within the Olympic Park next to the roller-coaster thing.

So who remembers 'Nene', was he that good, did he slip through the net?

Don't remember a thing about him!

One of the endless stream of no-name forwards that we waste our time with.

I don't remember him either but the article seems to imply that he was good and we should have kept him.

Bet we see Calleri in a similar article in 3 or 4 years.

Nordveldt gone, not sure what to think, as he put in some proper performances when played in his correct position towards the end of the season. Would make more sense had Oxford not gone to Borussia for the season?

Never saw enough of him to have much of a view; £5m apparently so not a bad return on (I think) a free.

Ox playing in Germany's a good move IMO, whether we ever see him in a WH first XI again remains to be seen of course.
