No positives to take from that capitulation.
Rice looked promising but I'm clutching at straws.Bit of a shock for Hart & Zab - who looked ok actually; Hart couldn't do much for any of the goals (I didn't see the last one though).
Rice, yes, did well - didn't look particularly fazed so good work.
The rest, aside from Hernan's running, after being kicked all game, very poor.
Suppose biggest surprise was that Sakho didn't appear to get injured, although will probably slip in the shower.
I didn't watch it, it's still summer. We always start st anyway so after 53 years I assure you it's better to start taking an interest towards the end of September. Usually by which time, we're somewhere near the bottom so it makes an interesting season watching us escape relegation, or not, as the case may be! ;-)

Feghouli gone.
Just leaves Snodgrass to off load, sounds like he might be Villa bound, and that's all bar one (I think (excluding youngsters)) of last seasons signings gone.
Indeed, what a waste of a year...Just leaves Snodgrass to off load, sounds like he might be Villa bound, and that's all bar one (I think (excluding youngsters)) of last seasons signings gone.
Wouldn't surprise me if that had been Lisbon's gameplan all along - let the market know a deal is there to be done, string us along for a bit and hope that other interested parties come out of the woodwork.
Depends on who the other interested parties are though, I guess - we can't possibly compete with the Top 6/8 but other than that, we have a chance.
Notable that it doesn't say who else may actually be interested though......
