Rumors that youre trying to get rid of Hernandes this window, thats gone bad pretty quickly, pretty much everyone thought he was an excellent signing for west ham, i certainly did.
Hasn't gone bad as such, he just doesn't fit in our style of play when we're having to defend and scrap. He doesn't offer anything on 95% of the pitch. If we were not in a relegation battle then I think he'd be a starter and be given time to form some understanding with Marko, Lanzini etc.
Having said that, Moyes didn't play him much at Man U either.

He does get goals though doesnt he? dangerous to get rid of goals when your in a relegation fight especially if you end up strengthening a rival in the process.

Although i imagine the wages will put a few off £130k p/w reportedly yikes

He's scored 4 goals this season (2 v S'hmpton), none have been in a win (although that's not surprising); last one was in Oct against Palace.

Barely has any service when he plays though but he's also not very mobile & bloody slow - as shown against Shrews at the weekend (where he was dire).

Doubt he'll go this window but can't see him staying long term.

Indeed, he looked disinterested and unmotivated however as they say, if you're not getting the service up front you could adapt you play and go and get the ball.

If the decision is made to sell that’s ok as long as we spend the money and buy well. We can’t afford to weaken or deplete our squad in any way.

By the time he'd got there the ball would've been back where he started biggrin

I don’t know exactly what the guy said to Jake Livermore but how can West Ham ban him from away matches?

I would have thought he would be able to get around the banning order by someone applying for tickets for him.

Was he a season ticket holder?

On a more positive note, remember my mate who did the magnificent dive for Nobe’s shirt at the end of the Spurs game to give it to a kid a few weeks back...and it was reported by the scummy press as “ rips shirt from young boy’s hands “ etc..
Well a club captain knows the truth ...

Top work from the skipper. That'll look cool framed. Authentic PL dirt as well.

No AC again today, Arna back.

I would imagine signing Hernandez with the prospect of some strong wingers like Antonio/Arnautovic etc putting balls into dangerous areas woudl make sense, but with Arnie now playing better in a different position and Antonio catching the fabled West Ham injury bug coupled with scraping out of relegation he is totally the wrong player for the team - worth hanging on to for the season in case form picks up and climbing the table and the team have the confidence to press the opposition.

Reading the BBC text 7 mins in and the same tactics again, sit back, allow oppo possession hope to hit on the break...

Seems the tactical tinker bringing him more narrow and not trying to do an out and out wide midfielders role is really paying off...

That has to be our biggest away win for some time! Fair play to the lads, they seem to be rejuvinated under Moyes!

Fitter. More disciplined. A desire not to lose. Some professional basics! The team is still on a precipice though, a few injuries and they are struggling I think. Got to dip into the market in Jan.

That was quite something; last 4-1 away might have been Blackburn, FA Cup, 2015/16?

Well done lads, looking forward to MOTD, we ought be first up based on that...
