I wonder what will happen with Snodgrass now? I doubt that Villa can afford to keep him.

Do we want him back?

I don't know, but that's why Pelligrini is paid £7m to sort that stuff out. laugh

If he was Italian the match fixing investigation would have already begun. What an utter tosser, cost his team the final.

But ...
Blame Klopp, he’s the bloke who continued to play him when it was manifestly obvious from very early on on that he wasn’t up to it.
And he signed him...

I actually feel sorry for him. Weapons Grade fkwittery in a game of that magnitude will haunt him forever.
Doubt he'll ever play for the club again.

Mistakes can be made and be understandable, but two in the most important game he played in is unforgivable. They were such bad mistakes. Even Hart wouldn't have made them laugh

It’s difficult to feel sorry for someone who prob earns 5 million quid a year doing something he loves, but from a human perspective I completely agree

ExWHUemployee on Twitter reckons we are looking to bring back Mario on loan for another season.

Snodgrass seems like is back - although not sure he will want to play for us given what the board ranted about him.

Oh and another interesting piece of gossip is that WHU had a deal in with Pellegrini at the start of the year to take over. Its a bit far fetched but does explain why Moyes was so quickly released without an obvious replacement announced.

I’ll be quite content if Mario comes back - there’s definitely a player in there and I’d rather have him than not I think. If we don’t have to shell out £20m for him and just pay a reasonable loan fee plus wages, I’d be happy with that.

Agreed, a full season with some investment and a good manager will really show what he is made of. Especially if we can pay loan fees as imagine he wont be cheap given he cost Inter 39m two years ago...
