I don't think that the Arnie one ever had any legs really.

Wilshere's not for me - agree w/ Brabus re. injury concerns. Think there are better options out there, plus his whining about not being inc. the WC squad's annoying.

Extended contracts of a couple of U-23s this morning I see. And apparently Rice has been offered a new contract of 15k a week basic rising to £30k based on appearances...

As his previous contract was £3k / week I'd say that's pretty good deal. £150,000 p/a to £780,000 p/a rising to £1.56 million p/a

Apparently the agent wanted £20k basic and given he will play a lot of matches I suspect will see him achieve his end of year earnings on the above deal.

In this world of player power they ought to double that initial offer & not fk about. Rice is our most promising youngster for years.

I suspect we are on the limit of the FFP wage bill so could do with shifting off the likes of AC who heavily impact that without giving the return in play time.
