Seri would be a cracking signing. I am happy with our business so far, and getting Seri and A.N Other would be a great summer. We have addressed several key areas, and as long as we get a DM and a replacement for Lanzini, and can keep Arnie and get Chicharito in the team, then the coming season could well be a cracker!
Agree.... but we thought that last summer !!I think last summer Sullivan had a bigger say in things, Bilic was already under pressure and the doubts were already there. I think with the new manager who has a proven track record, and some more good purchases to back up people like Arnie who pretty much carried the team in some games we should feel a bit more optimistic. Not saying aim for top 6 finish mind you! Be nice not to spend 3/4s of the season stuck in a relegation battle.
The problem is that you have to spend £50m just to stand still these days.
An ‘ok’ Championship player now costs anywhere between £10m and £20m and GSB have always baulked at spending that much money, so we will always struggle to stay at ‘same level’ never mind getting to the promised ‘next level’.

Chico seems to be doing his best to win a move though! Had a very good game against Germany and then hits the winner against Korea, got to be worth at least £30m now if someone came sniffing!
Why would we want to sell him?bad company said:
Hmmm feels like this is going to be a Carvello all over again...but would love to see him sign, top draw player.coldel said:

I know that I should know better having supported the Hammers for 54 years but... I have the feeling that Pellegrini and his assistants could make a big difference to the club.
Hopefully it'll be the change that we've needed for a long time - we've been amateur like for too long in dealing with other clubs, transfers & the press. bad company said:
