I can see Wilshire signing. Not particularly keen personally but I'll reserve judgment etc; plus with Lanzini out (effectively for the season) we desperately need some creativity in MF.
Logical move for JW as well bearing in mind where he lives, kids etc. Can't see him shipping off to Turkey or abroad really.

I’m chuffed to bits .Logical move for JW as well bearing in mind where he lives, kids etc. Can't see him shipping off to Turkey or abroad really.
Hammers fan, only 26 and will be a steal if we see him anywhere near his best.
Hopefully he’s injury woes are mainly behind him,he’s played 60 odd games in the last two seasons ... probably more than half our squad put together.
Yes I think if Lanzini was fit he wouldn't be considered but given its a free and maybe try slip something in there about part of the salary based on appearances i.e. bonus then we could have a bit of a steal on our hands. He managed 40 matches last season but there is always that risk another big injury is around the corner, but for a free, its worth it if they can put a reasonable cap on his wages.

Payet coming back? Now that really could lead to unrest.

Apparently its a previous player, would be more likely to be Defoe?
I also think some of the current playing staff are not too chuffed with him either - I think either way it would be a mistake to bring him back, he is past his peak and we are bringing in some talented younger blood at the moment, lets keep that going. Personally right now I would be happy with mid-table finish and space in the first team to experiment with some of the younger talent like Browne/Hasbanavicowhatsisname than finish a couple of spots higher with the team filled with imports. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for us doing well, but we dont have the financial muscle to break into top four and would rather see Rice and a few others develop into world class players.

I hope not, Defoe was good but past it now imo.Payet, possibly but would have to be much less than he was sold for. I also wonder if the fans would take him back?
Each to their own but should be told to FRO IMO.

I see where you’re coming from but if we’re not ambitious players like Rice will be even more tempted to join a bigger club.Personally right now I would be happy with mid-table finish and space in the first team to experiment with some of the younger talent like Browne/Hasbanavicowhatsisname than finish a couple of spots higher with the team filled with imports. Having said that I wouldn’t want to see Payet or Defoe back. We need to move forward not backwards.
This looks promising:-

Having said that I’ve never previously heard of Balbuena.
