Inexcusable to miss the goal from that distance. If it get saved fine but to miss the goal altogether? Wow...

Shame about Yarmelenko's miss, but I think MP got his tactics spot on today. Will await feedback from sjc et al as it always looks different when you're watching on TV as opposed to being at the ground.

Defence looked a lot more solid today and it appears that Pellegrini’s ideas are starting to filter through.

I honestly thought there was a good chance we’d be heading into October with no points on the board, so to get three away at Everton and a fully-deserved point today is very welcome.

For me, Anderson is starting to show glimpses of what he can do, Snodgrass looks rejuvenated compared to last season and Rice is going to be a major player for us (if he isn’t already).

But Yarmolenko shootbanghead

Heading practice tomorrow I think!

As Defoe just said, even he could have scored it.

Happy bloody days, well done lads. That’s all we ever want each week, a proper shift from everyone .. well other than Masuako who appeared to be playing for Chelsea along with Mike Dean.
Fab is the solid unflashy commanding keeper I said he was,the centre backs are starting to work as a unit,Rice was simply outstanding,Nobes and Obiang worked their socks off,Anderson is getting there.
Subs pretty much bang on, (Sanchez one was brave after the Wolves game), Snoddy set up what should have been the winner.
Great atmosphere, great tactics, and I didn’t even hit a Stop board on the way out.

Watched on Sky and didn't think Mike Dean did anything wrong other than not book Hazzard for diving early on.

Nothing drastic but ( for instance ) Luiz blatantly pushed Ant to the floor three times with nowt given, and then wrestled him to the floor to stop us breaking.

yes

Pity about that miss; would've taken the draw at the start so pleased with a point.

Fab's gob will be stinging after that save.

Top work. I got the full house, plus TFL back to Shen which takes longer.

Still sun's shining now.

All in all a decent result. Yes we should have had the header but Chelski also had some great chances.

I still can’t see the value in Anderson. He doesn’t even want to get his shorts dirty.

Anderson seems amazing in moments, but not consistent enough. But hoping that will come as him Yarmo and Arnie have that potential to make us a threat either when dominating and unlocking tough defences or when playing on the counter.

Rice getting plaudits this morning also, rightly so, why have West Ham dug their heels in and not extended his contract is getting daft now. I think we are talking about ten grand difference a week - at a time when we have thrown loads more at a pointless signing like Wilshere. Get the kid signed up asap.

Last night I was driving so was listening to the commentary on R5 of the Arse Everton game.
This was followed by a football phone in show with Chris Sutton and some other knob.
Anyway an utterly fkwitted deluded bellend purporting to be WH rang up saying he reckons we will finish Top 4.
This was met with Sutton pissing himself and the rest of the show turning into an anti WH piss take.
Tossers.

The other side of the game ( and trying to make it in the game).
So pleased for this club that finally someone has come in and saved it, an American consortium including the ex keeper Tim Howard. My son loved his time there, such a shame they dropped the Academy when they got relegated put the football league.
