Discussion
Well,
I’m still reasonably positive that things will come right.
Crap experience from start to finish on Wednesday but that was mainly due to the security/ stadium/ “ fans” etc... the game itself we did ok .. in parts, which is the story of our season.
What we must do is learn to concentrate for 90 minutes, and cut out the schoolboy errors that appear nearly every game and cost us each and every time.
We can go right back to the wolves game and pretty much every game since where we’ve ended up with nothing .Its no coincidence that we didn’t give away anything in the games we picked up points in.We also need Marco to find his scoring boots again as well.
The positives are we have a really solid keeper, Zab has found a new lease of life, Diop and balbuena have become a really good pairing of and get Pellers 18 yard theory, Rice of all his good performances has excelled himself even more recently and Diangana is a breath of fresh air.I’ve had enough of Arthur’s brain farts now ( cost us at least 4/5 goals this season ) so I’d play Cresswell, and don’t think Burnley is an Anderson type game.
I know the injuries are mounting up but unless we lose a couple more players I expect us to win tomorrow m.
There ... I’ve said it !

I’m not aware Arthur has a brain at all. Rice is real quality but as far as I know still won’t sign a contract so probably has to go.I’m still reasonably positive that things will come right.

Otherwise I agree with you.
Suggestion that Masuaku & Cress both carrying injuries - late decision on either and formation today.
Hope I'm wrong but can't see much out of today & the Joe Hart masterclass' inevitable.
Rice self-inflicted by the Club being cheap tts. If we lose him it'll be a disgrace.
Plus fking trains suspended for engineering so fun bus to Redbridge. Great.

Zab is likely to do a better job than either of them on current form even at left back if he plays a four... problem is it leaves Fredericks at right back who’s not exactly been the signing we hoped yet.Plus fking trains suspended for engineering so fun bus to Redbridge. Great.
And ta for the heads up with the trains, with everything going on this week I hadn’t even checked and would have been stuffed.
Laindon it is then, cheers fella.

Think trains screwed throughout Nov, not checked Dec. Also I put Redbridge when it's actually Newbury Park (for all the difference it makes).

Is that still not resolved yet? What's the inside word? Just sitting here watching the game at Bournemouth and they mentioned the Ted McDougall stand.
I remember that name, I thought, so I Googled it and as I suspected he did have a stint at West Ham. It seems his career there ended after a dressing room punch up with Billy Bonds after a 4:1 defeat at Leeds. Apparently SuperTed was standing on the half way line watching the goals go in behind him. He had a reputation as a 'goal hanger' anyway, it seems. Bonzo took exception to this and pinned him to the wall by his throat. Ron Greenwood was in the dressing room at the time and just watched. McDougall was on his way out the next day.
Happy days.

I’m sure I remember my dad taking me to West Ham away at Norwich when I would have been 11or 12 ( so 76/77ish...and he scored against us ... Remembered mainly because of fighting in the crowd/ fans in the pitch and the Norwich fans chant of “towiteroo”

Looks like two pens, straight through the back of obiang in the first five mins no yellow ..
Yep the one on Diangana was a stonewall pen according to every report! Looks like two pens, straight through the back of obiang in the first five mins no yellow ..
Ben Mee's goal line clearance was good.
