Word is Reece O is off to Germany again but this time permanently.
Good - he's going nowhere at the Club so needs to be offloaded. Last watched him play vs. Billericay Town in a pre-season friendly... couple of weeks ago watched Declan Rice score the winner in a London derby that he started & bossed throughout.
I remember that game against Arsenal, it was surreal he looked immense. How you can go backwards from a game like that I think as you say is down to personal effort.
In other news on the BBC site, West Ham are 4th in the 'playing the kids' table, so which Prem teams give the most game time to under 22s. Diop is also the 4th most played U22 player in the division. Cardiff have yet to field a player under 22 years old

Sometimes developing players just hit a wall. The game is littered with Reece Oxford's everywhere, if he wasn't at West Ham we prob' wouldn't have heard of him. The game immediately after the Arse one,( when he should have been pulled out the limelight to let everything calm down) he looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights and had never played before, and he got hooked at half-time virtually never to be seen again.
A shocking bit of mis -management all-round by Bilic.

I don't think it was a case of young player flukes one game never repeats it - he was on the radar for a number of years, steaming through the age groups then it all came to an abrupt halt. As much as you can blame managers, clubs etc. there is the bit about a player taking some responsibility for their own development. From the outside in he seemed to just go into cruise control never looking to better himself. When you look at young players like Rice, released by Chelsea at 14, but fights back and now looking every bit a future England captain at the same time Reece a sho-in to the England youth setup floundered, you have to wonder how two players at the same club ended up on different routes.

The home game was v. Leicester (we lost 2-1, #27 scored for WHU), RO off at HT for Obiang.
Edited to all - forgot that we've a game this evening v. Wolves - hopefully might see something of a bounceback... and maybe the tt bothering to turn up...
Or it'll be the expected st.

I watched Wolves vs City the other weekend when Wolves got a red card, even losing 3-0 I think it was they still looked very impressive. See nothing but a very tough night tonight...The home game was v. Leicester (we lost 2-1, #27 scored for WHU), RO off at HT for Obiang.
