I wouldn't worry too much.
I strongly suspect we're in for a standard WH season.
Generally mediocre, with the occasional unexpectedly decent result against Man U or The Spuds, with some sthouse defeats against teams who haven't won a game for months.
One of our new signings will be surprisingly good for a season and a half, fail to get his desired transfer, upset the squad, and eventually fk off after being given a loyalty bonus and a pay rise.
Another new signing will play once or twice, get a bad injury and disappear for 18 months.
We'll get drawn away against a lower league side in the Cup, which will be shown live by the BBC expecting us to lose.
Have I missed anything?

That was always going to be the outcome of VAR.
I'm not a fan of it, but if it corrects most of the poor decisions that have gone against us (and other teams (unless playing WH ) over the last few seasons (offside goals that weren't, offside goals that were, red cards that weren't given etc) that would be good.
No one would have a problem how many pens/offsides etc top teams got if they were the correct decisions. Top team bias has gone on for years, on the pitch and in the press.I'm not a fan of it, but if it corrects most of the poor decisions that have gone against us (and other teams (unless playing WH ) over the last few seasons (offside goals that weren't, offside goals that were, red cards that weren't given etc) that would be good.
Even yesterday it was farcical how many constant City fouls went without a card and we end up with two yellows in no time. It happens week after week after week when you see the whole game live. The average football fan it utterly sick of it, and it’s an embarrassment to the game.

Our record against Citee is particularly awful though. They’ve scored 20 odd goals at our place.
I have no doubt we will come back and win a few games, what narks me is that we saw that defeat coming - not because of who it is or whatever but because we know under a bit of pressure our defence just folds. Why do we know this, its the same defence that was not good enough last year. And whilst we leave a £23m signing on the bench we play a free transfer that is not good enough for the prem at right back and someone so far past their best on the other side.
Will Wolves lose 5-0 at home to City? Or Leicester? Everton? Those are our peers and what we should be aiming at - but thats why ultimately we drop away when the pressures on.
