Yeah looks that way so far. Eight million quid though eek

I get that Pelle wanted to get two players in every position to create squad depth, but to have the second player as someone on par with how good I am is not quite getting it right!

So Pellers got moaned at for putting out a strong team against Newport when we ended up losing Antonio to injury, then gets criticised when when he puts out an understrength team against Oxford in the next round.
You really couldn't make it up, this place is getting more the like the whingy old gits that used to write in to OLAS by the week !!

I got no problem with Pelle putting a strong team out, but not a player with a huge history of injuries and was already carrying one. Antonio was not fit for that game and shouldn't have played. No contradiction, just common sense.

I would certainly expect the club to give the travelling fans a financial gesture today, you shouldnt be losing 4-0 to a league one team in that fashion. I can understand losing by the odd goal and being unlucky but four nil, its like me turning up to work in my pyjamas, lounging around all week, drinking beer and leaving at midday - I wouldnt expect to get paid!

Well I’ve just seen some of it on Sky catch up.
The effort levels on tracking and closing down were an absolute disgrace.
Couldn’t quite believe what I was looking at.

Pretty sure I didn't call out Manual Pele Greeny for playing a strong side in the last round.

I want us in the Cups, we ain't gonna win the league. (unless we get relegated a couple of divs).

I would always play our strongest side in every match.

Injuries? All part of the fun.

Players need a rest? MTFU. Poofs.

COYI.

Just watched MOTD. Whatever happened to Fabianski? Hope he’s back quickly.

Suggested thigh strain on the radio - off for a scan today apparently.

Typical piss-take MOTD running order, waiting for our game now.

I was curious to know what had happened to Fabs but they didn't show it and didn't mentioned it either. I thought we escaped a penalty when Cresswell grappled with the Cherries striker in the box. As for the offside, I saw it explained on MOTD and still didn't understand the goal decision - that's offside for you these days! wobble Apparently the striker was behind the ball but the freeze frame clip they showed was at the time he kicked the ball. Well, to get the ball to go towards the net you would be behind it unless it's an overhead kick. Perhaps they didn't explain it properly... Anyway, it was another one of those games that we would have lost in previous years and again we've come from behind to get the draw. It's looking good for 40 points this year chaps. biggrin

Suggestion of a hip injury from one of the reports I've since read. Guess we'll find out in the week.

Lets hope Roberto has an Adrian type effect of moving clubs and being thrust into the first team!

Rice apparently had an absolutely top notch game again with mid 90s pass completion, most intercepts etc. When he is a few more years in and commanding a team with an armband on he is going to be a monster of a player in midfield - the main concern is who replaces Noble when he goes out to pasture.

We would have lost that game 3 or 4-1 a few seasons ago. Very pleased to get that draw after going behind. 3rd, stone me!

Defo. Mentality has really shifted (although fk knows what happened on Wednesday).

Also, Wilson = Lukaku = Murray banghead

Looks like Fabianski is out for around 3 months.

And the jinx strikes...took a bit longer than usual, although expected it to be Anderson or Haller by now. But tearing a muscle taking a goal kick, that just shouldn't happen. Seems like we are hoping that the underused spanish stopper is a bit better than he has looked so far!
