The ref got a few things wrong I think, I thought your guy was lucky to stay on the pitch after his tackle on son.
To be honest I thought Fredericks got the ball cleanly and the Spurs player (was it Son?) only got cleaned out in the follow through. That's ok isn't it? It was 31 years ago I last played Son gets to the ball first. It was a shocker in this day and age. Dermott Gallagher seems to agree https://tbrfootball.com/dermot-gallagher-says-play...
Being a derby game It wasnt an easy game to ref to be fair there were a few tackles flying in. Oliver didnt have a great game though as i said he messed up that diop yellow and i think he got this wrong as well.

Cheers, that's a great link and pretty much pinpoints everything.sjc said:

Cheers, that's a great link and pretty much pinpoints everything.I also think we are lightweight in midfield, Rice could be burning out, Noble doesn't have the legs and Snodgrass is pretty average and that's our first choice. The players on the bench shouldn't be near the premier league and not up to standard. Lanzini Fornals Yarmo Anderson all need solid midfielders in there allowing them to play with confidence and without fear of failure.
But yes we are so short across the back four, and in goal. We had a reasonable first eleven midtable level, but nothing to back that up. Makes a mockery when Pelle said at the start of the season he was happy with the squad having '2 players in every position' failing to extend the point that not all of them are any good!

Still think we could do worse than calling Trott back - give him a go. He is sitting down in lower reaches of League One at the moment. Martin must be pretty bad if after all the mistakes by Roberto he still isnt getting a sniff.
Is David Martin that bad? Who knows???TCEvo said:

I asked because Martin was on the bench last Saturday, perhaps he will get a game sometome?
Given he only managed 15 games for Millwall in two seasons and they let him go on a free I can't imagine he is going to be much good. That said, its all relative, my mum would be better in goal than Roberto. sjc said:
Come on Maldon and Tiptree...do it again.
Played their hearts out, and played some really nice stuff, just not meant to be. Proper game and a joy to watch that honest type of football.Moving in to the preening, play acting overpaid prima donnas in the PL,Abraham out means that without his pace tear us to shreds we might limit the damage down from 6 to 4.... but could still be 6 !

To say I’m not confident about today is a massive understatement. Seriously wtf went wrong, this season looked so positive a few weeks ago.
We’ve conceded 20 goals in the last 8 games. Whatever happened has drip fed through the team, and they all look like they’re running in quicksand again. The only positive from the spuds game was that Rice looked a bit more like his usual self.
