To say I’m not confident about today is a massive understatement. Seriously wtf went wrong, this season looked so positive a few weeks ago. frown
We’ve conceded 20 goals in the last 8 games.
Whatever happened has drip fed through the team, and they all look like they’re running in quicksand again. The only positive from the spuds game was that Rice looked a bit more like his usual self.
That rate must put us towards the bottom of the whole or league football at the moment - unsustainable.

Change of keeper or not I suspect another inevitable shambles today.

Pity about Maldon & Tip.

So Martin in goal. At least technique wise he should be a bit more solid.
And after Ant coming on linking up with Haller as a two up top and causing a few problems between them ... guess what he does ?... Truly baffling.

So we still didn't get Antonio and Haller together up front bur for those of you that went, do you think that would have been a better formation? Hard to say I suppose seeing as we won.

Delighted for the ex-Millwall chap wink

Fans were singing the “ oh pretty baby” song for him, normally solely reserved for Christian Dailly !
Lovely pic of him and his dad having a hug after the game. He’s been a life long fan (no doubt due to his dad’s career ) so must have meant a hell of a lot to him.

Yeah what a game for Martin...not much mention in the news of the Lampard thing so glad that has been largely ignored in favour of us finally putting a shift in.

There’s another great pic of Rice and him in tears doing the rounds.

What's that? Did our supporters humiliate themselves again?

I hadn't realised he's 33 - doesn't look it; thought he was a youngster!

Cracking stuff.

I'll finally watch MOTD (2) later - first time since Sept. First win at chelski since 2002 ffs.

IRONS!!!

Edited to add now watched the highlights - top stuff.

I always laughed at our fans singing ‘big fat Frank’ when he played against us. The guy was fit as a fiddlers elbow.

Sorry no I meant it would have been an easy report to say oh look Lampard beats former club who got rid of him etc again. But this was the big story.

I think a complaint has gone in about the constant homophobic chanting......
