For a while Payet was the best player in the division. He obviously had some serious personal problems but for a while, just completely unplayable.

Best goal is a tough one, for me the Lanzini goal was brilliant, the speed of pass and movement is what we are crying out for at the moment. The Noble goal was brilliant, if you watch you see Arnautovic hold his head in his hands in astonishment, if he thinks its a good one, you know it is!

Christ, some of those goals take me back. Parker's, Obiang's and Noble's are my fave.

Yep...think he’d been unwell for some time.
Was lucky enough to play golf with him many years back. Just came across as a nice unassuming gent who helped put our club on the map.

Merry Christmas. My brother was at a hospital with his daughter yesterday and noticed some commotion...some ex footballer there dropping off presents for the kids and signing stuff etc. Turns out to be our very own Trevor Brooking! He got a photo of him with him...despite having no idea who he is! (My family have no interest in football!)
