We bought soucek there is a photo of him inside the stadium, but it literally happened 12 hours before kick off so no chance of being a starter.

Sounded like the defence was a bit better drilled, I expected a normal 4-0 so to keep it to 2 was a nice surprise.
Mates who went said L'pool barely out of second gear - no surprise; but agree 'only' two nil was unexpected. Anfield soon though whistle

Sounded a shambles getting through security & onto the island - mass queues & a huge push through the cordon eventually.

Also saw some bks on twitter about fireworks (at the ground) as players came out - what a load of fking bks.

This doesn’t surprise me in the slightest - the checks are just way too slow. There is going to be an irate stampede one day and someone is going to get hurt.

I presume it is the stadium operators rather than WH who insist on this?

Does a similar thing happen at all the other PL grounds? Deffo doesn’t happen at Roots Hall 🤣

Although Soucek looks good, think he was the cut price version of Sander Berge!

Yes where is SJC worrying he hasn’t replied?

Saw we are linked with a Hull attacker Bowen? Never heard of him to be honest? We are still missing any sort of defensive reinforcements which would be criminal if we went another window relying on what we have which are clearly substandard.

Well regarder (Bowen) - I've never seen him play.

Classic WH leaving it to the last few hours rolleyes

Can't remember who insisted on the security. It wasn't there originally.

I don't use the main entrance so generally don't get caught up.

Don't think other stadiums have the same measures - ours is unusual though as it's part of the park (inc. 'external concourse') which is open to the public throughout, inc. matchdays.

They used to do the checks at the turnstiles which, whilst still a PITA, was better as there are many more of those than there are bridges and lanes.

So the Bowen transfer on hold as WHU argue over wages. OK to pay massively injury prone players stupid money but get tight when it comes to young hungry English players with a decent scoring record...only WHU.

It's all gone to Ms Brady on her 30% pay rise.

Expect anything else?

Usually shambolic management/ownership/structure etc.

Bloke should've been signed & playing early Jan.

Think that bloke must've walked from Hull given how long it's taken to wrap the fking thing up. Needed him in the team for tomorrow, no chance of that.

Bowen done.

Two outfield signings isn't enough though.

Bowen is an excellent signing. I'm quite surprised he didn't wait to the end of the season to see if you stayed up before signing.

I've seen a fair bit of him, think you chaps should be excited.

Let’s see if he can translate his form up a division in a struggling team.

Clearly Zaba can’t play every match until Fredericks is back, let’s hope the U23s can cover.
