Discussion
The stadium managers seem to change/meddle with rules on a (far too) regular basis. Yesterday’s way to annoy us was to insist of seeing everyone’s ticket again before we could return to our seats after the half time break. This caused a big backlog of disgruntled fans who missed the start of the second half. This was in the Club London area, did that happen elsewhere in the ground?

It's bks. Once your into the ground there's no need to be showing tickets again.
In Club London we get wristbands to let us back into the lounge area and claim our free half time . Given that we had the wristbands what was the ticket check all about? To be fair the stewards stopped checking after a while as the match had re started and those still trying to get back to their seats were getting agitated. Its such a shame Soucek is injured, I think him Rice and Fornals in the midfield flanked by Antonio and Bowen with a rejuvenated Haller up front finally getting some runners to work with really looks a balanced midfield - I do think its time for Noble to start phasing out and play more of a club role (to be honest I think he would admit to that too, he is off the pace against the better teams).
Ngakia is looking promising, if we can lose Balbuena over the summer and get another good solid premier league player in at the back and sort out the left back position we would be in a much better position...assuming we stay up, which is still going to be a challenge especially with the Norwich and Watford results giving them hope.

Agree & think Nobes would also see it - alluded to it in an interview a while back - he was caught out badly a few times yesterday. Typical WH though, bit of promise (Soucek) shown & promptly gets injured.
Impressed w/ Ngakia - first I'd seen of him (I think), arse saved by Bowen second half though.
Was Rice's 100th game against Southampton, amazing really that at 21 he has 100 games and a full England international. Cannot remember the stats but something like 3 interceptions, 5 aerial duels won, a load of tackles and dribbles - some of the best stats of a defensive midfielder in his age bracket in Europe yet again. Assuming he continues to keep a level head and improve each week you only wonder how good he will be at his peak around 26-28 years old.

I’m more concerned about how long he will stay with us. I wouldn’t be surprised if he left before next season, particularly if we’re relegated.bad company said:

I think his stats (games-wise) are actually very similar to Rio's. Rio was 18 at his debut & was on 97 appearances at the end of the 1999 season, by which time he was 21 (or in his 21st year).

And done in technically, a very difficult position to master. The fact he can drop back into central defense and look completely at home is a big advantage for him too.
Defo. Didn't Rio have a spell in midfield as well at one point?
