So Moyes talking about West Ham as a selling club this morning 'That is what happens - you lose your best players'. Apparently £90m will get any club Declan Rice according to sources who have been hearing about the potential sale of key players should we go down.
£90m laugh we'd be lucky.

Any other season and we'd definitely be getting relegated which isn't acceptable with the squad (despite our defensive woes) so I really expect the lads to pull their socks up and graft for the rest of the season. Knowing our board their won't be any salary cut clauses should we get relegated, so that is probably wishful thinking.

Yes the club will have thrown ridiculously crafted contracts at the squad in desperation and we will have to literally let players go for a fraction of their value as we wont be able to pay them if we go down.

Positive noises coming out of the club about the Nolan appointment, hopefully he can kick some energy into some of them and get them playing.

Jesus Moyes is doing my head in now - so we sign Bowen for £20m because he is banging in the goals, in great form, and we are struggling. So what does Moyes say...lets wait, ease him in, etc. Yes thats a great idea, lets wait till we are bottom and relegated then give him a run in the team. What a fking joke this bloke is. Bowen is not 12 years old, he is a big boy now and gagging to get on the pitch.

Bloke's already been playing all season, doesn't need a fking rest, start him or fk off. tt.

Getting my anger out of the way this afternoon so I don't have to bother with the game itself.

3-1, Haller with two and Declan with the other, a screamer from 25 yards.

Nurse! Is it time for my meds yet? What’s for tea?

Just had an email from the Club as I am a STH in the BML - looks like they are forging ahead with the plans to square off the stands behind the goals, ready for next season yikes

I never thought it would amount to anything. Be interesting to see what is proposed.

UPDATE ON PROPOSED CONCEPT TO MOVE FANS CLOSER TO THE PITCH

Dear Chris,

What’s happening

We are writing to you with an update, following our previous letter in February 2019, that we were exploring some changes to improve the seating and experience of supporters in the Sir Trevor Brooking and Bobby Moore lower stands.

What’s changing

Arena Events Group has now been appointed to deliver two new lower tier stands, squared-off in line with a more traditional football stadium configuration behind the goals, with the aim of moving the two stands closer to the pitch and installing these this summer.

What’s next and how does it affect me

The Club will endeavour to ensure that you will be located to the seat that is the closest equivalent to where you currently sit. As soon as the design of the new stands is finalised we will send you a detailed plan of where your new seat is located. One of the major pieces of feedback from supporters has been the shape of the stands behind the goal and their proximity to the pitch. We believe these new stands will go a long way to resolving these issues and will offer an improved match-viewing experience.

However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your new position, you will have the option of relocating your Season Tickets and will be given priority to move to other available seats within the Stadium.

Rest assured we will contact you in the coming weeks when we have more information with details on any potential changes to your seat position ahead of the renewal period. We will also provide you with the option to come to London Stadium for an appointment to see the plans before renewing.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact Supporter Services by emailing supporterservices@westhamunited.co.uk.

Best Regards,

Nicola Keye
Director of Ticketing

Has anybody thought of the carpet!

Joking aside, that'll be quite an interesting change as there'll need to make the two lower tiers (either end) more steeply racked to get more seats in that aren't all at ground level. Assume it'll be more temporary type structures though given the track below etc.

Oh dear............not sure I'll be brave enough to watch it on TV tonight.
Think I'll give it until we concede the first then bail out.

According to the lineups I've just been sent via the WH app, Snodgrass is a striker.

Who knew?
