Never really noticed either way. Just seems that these lot are niggling as a disruptive game-plan and getting away with it same as a few others recently. God knows we're not excelling anyway but rules are rules and the refs need to be on the ball. How was Rash and Mata getting felled within seconds of each other not a free kick? How was Mata getting dragged back not a free-kick (glad it wasn't cos we went on to score but that's a hell of a tenuous advantage to play!)

Is this ref watching the play at all? I really don't think it's me being biased, but how many little pushes in the back and ankle-taps is he going to completely ignore?

I think the schedule and injuries dictated that.jose was worried, excessively so I think.
Yes, although the problem he has is that which defenders does he play as they all seem a bit iffy at times, recently anyway. I guess if you have them all on, he figures just force of numbers will get the job done. Completely gave up possession in midfield though, which creates an issue. Would have made more sense if he pushed Jones up to midfield or something, try to press further up. Jesse took his goal really well though, and looked to have his rocket boots on today. Also Valencia with the classic example of never give up, because you never know.
