He (Martial) might get a few more chances but it's looking like another potentially promising signing not quite making it.

I still think Shaw has a chance just for his attacking potential but he won't get much longer if he keeps f*cking up so obviously in defence.

I'm on the fence with Lingards long term potential, could go either way.

Hurry up end of extra time.

Let's say you bought Grizeman would that not seriously hinder what I see is your best player (Rashford) he is infectious for the rest of your team, his speed, closing down and finishing it's what you need up top...
Moving him out wide would be a big mistake

Not necessarily. We won't need just the one striker, there are so many games these days and the way we play the players can rotate round. I don't think it would be a problem for Rashford. Probably would be for Martial or Lingard, but if they don't want the competition then maybe they aren't right for us.

I think his price tag might be an issue, how do you leave out such an expensive player? Ideally like to see at least one of Rooney and (ideally) Ibra stay, not for the amount of times they would play but just if they both left the gap in experience would be a loss. Expensive to keep though.

Never won owt with kids.

Four-Four-feckin-Two!
They could play together. United used to have a couple of pairs of handy strikers a little while ago...
Disagree about him being infectious unless Martial has been inoculated. I wanted him brought on all the second half but wanted him taken off after 10 minutes, the lazy sod. Think he's eating all Shaw's pies too.

Let's be honest if you bought Grizeman would play all the important games, rests would come in with games not so important...Rashford is too good for that now why hold him back, look at Mbappe who is holding him back?
Like nearly all teams now you play with 1 up, gone are the days of having 4 top strikers like you used too...

But I don't think it has to be Rashford or Griezman exclusively, there's no reason they can't play together. Look at Barca with Suarez, Neymar and Messi - they manage it. I understand your point, but I think it would be a mistake, for all Rashfords promise, for us not to have reinforcements up front given the problems we've had in goal scoring.

It may well be Zlatan is done, I hope not but it looked bad. Rooney is off for sure. So that leaves Rashford and Martial as strikers, and Martial doesn't look to be winning JM over (I thought there was another little dig at him in the post match interview). It only takes an injury to Rashford and we'd be stuffed if we don't bring someone in.

Rashford is absurd class. Absolutely stunning player.
He missed a howler of a chance which would have decided the game within 90 minutes. It seems that is being glossed over because he scored in extra time. He's certainly a work in progress.

Pogba is shockingly bad. Especially for an £89m price tag.

Why so worried about Griezmann? Why so worried about what will happen to us? Is there possibly a fear that we might start to finish off those matches that we're currently drawing?

Also, and this is a really shocking idea, but maybe, just maybe a squad can have more than one forward in it.

Griezman would compliment Rashford beautifully.

This, absolutely.

He was fantastic.

If only he could play the equivalent of a mid-table championship side every week.

You guys still confident of winning the EL? I didn't see the match last night, but I was surprised you didn't beat Anderlecht more comfortably.

Pogba was excellent. He is excellent most games. Only a moron could fail to appreciate his ability and the way he creates space and finds passes. He is one of the best passers in the world.

We definitely need another striker.

Rooney is gone.
Martial is fat, slow and lazy. I would ship him out while he is under 14 stone and might still trick people into thinking he is a footballer.
Zlatan has probably played his last game for Utd. Very sad.
Jesse is not a striker.

Jesse and Rash have a very good understanding and would be good up front, together.

You beat us fair and square and the weekend, much the better team but I can honestly say I didn't see much from Pogba at all. Same as the previous 2 fixtures this season.

Did seem to do well in the half hour of what I saw last night though.
