Let's be honest, he's not going to leave Real.

It was only last week he declared he'd never come back wasn't it?
Don't want him anyway, he's never amounted to anything since leaving us has he?
wink
He might be trying to dodge a prison sentence though if the fraud is proven. If so he'll be signing for Panama Town this summer.

Although it would be great to see him back I can't see it happening. Think he just wants Perez to pay his tax bill for him.
This is what I was thinking

£80m for what could be only one season is a huge amount of money to spend on a player.

I would probably pay it, but only because I think money is largely irrelevant at Utd. We earn it faster than we can waste it.
That doesn´t really make sense given that United is about £500m in debt....

And although United are doing ok financially, even United can´t waste too many Carlton Pogba´s.

I would rather spend £80m on a World Class player than £30m on someone average, though, and there are plenty of average players now going for £30m. The value for money is at the top of the market.
Real will never let him go, not for £80m and not for £180m.

I don't even think it's that...but guess what people aren't talking about anymore.

Eh? Who? Dier? He is a slow version of Phil Jones. We already have Phil Jones.

Pogba made the whole England team look like pub players. Not far from the truth.
Yes Dier - rumours Jose wants him wink
He's back in for him according to the Telegraph.

Not so sure, there seems to be a lot of coverage of his plans in the press this morning.

If he wants to leave, why does he not just leave. Why all the Ronaldo-esque drama?

Would he play under Jose again?
If this were ever to happen, SAF would be the key to bringing him back. And the fans generally idolise him, which would play to his ego.

Ok i'll be first to go....

Whats your thoughts on Ronaldo potentially coming back? I'm reading this morning about a 180 million deal that is Ronnie and Morata our way and DeGea the other. Personally I think we're on the better side of the deal with that and still have time to get a keeper in, if needed at all!

Ronnie might be 32 but he is an incredible athlete who has at least another 3 years at the very top and like Pogba, merchandise etc alone will no doubt cover that over a pretty short period of time!

I think Romero has performed well enough to be a suitable replacement should such a deal happen.

I'm pretty sure that he'll be there (Spain) come the start of next season. This has all the hallmarks of the Ronaldo strop, and I'm pretty sure that he is onto a winner with Real Madrid with guaranteed cash and trophies. If not, France would be my next bet.

The whole Neymar, Messi, Ronaldo transfer rumour happens every year and its pretty boring. I try and avoid all the speculation and wait till you see them in a United shirt signing the contract before its confirmed.

Lots of discussion about Ronaldo and Tax Bills, but he only signed a 5 year deal last year earning mega money so why would he leave? Just pointless speculation.
