It will be very sad if De Gea goes. For all the talk about Romero, he has had several good games but mostly had nothing to do. It is supremely optimistic to think he can replace De Gea.

Whats your thoughts on Ronaldo potentially coming back? I'm reading this morning about a 180 million deal that is Ronnie and Morata our way and DeGea the other. Personally I think we're on the better side of the deal with that and still have time to get a keeper in, if needed at all!
Ronnie might be 32 but he is an incredible athlete who has at least another 3 years at the very top and like Pogba, merchandise etc alone will no doubt cover that over a pretty short period of time!
I'll be indulgent. I'd take the swap and try to sign Schmiechel. Whats your thoughts on Ronaldo potentially coming back? I'm reading this morning about a 180 million deal that is Ronnie and Morata our way and DeGea the other. I really do think it's sheer quesswork to say Ronaldo has lots of good years ahead of him. He obviously looks after himself, but there is a huge element of randomness to when a player wakes up to find that his legs have given up to on him.
It is rarely before 30 and rarely after 34 so he is smack bang in the zone.

Every season big names get talked about as part of a swap deal, and every year they never happen.
