All I said was that in my opinion was that Man Utd are the most abhorrent team in English football .
Bloody JCL hoorays these days.
Unless you give reasons as to why you think that, it sounds like you're baiting. Maybe you are?Bloody JCL hoorays these days.
I did say it's my opinion & I certainly don't have to explain myself to you sir.
I've not been rude, abusive or called anyone immature or childish names.

The thermometer of success is merely the jealousy of malcontents. Dali.

You're right, you don't have to explain yourself to anyone on a forum. But if you make comments like that, on an opposition team's thread, expect to get some deserved backlash.

I'm a big boy & I can take the backlash & please remember it's not me getting upset or doing the name calling. The thermometer of success is merely the jealousy of malcontents. Dali.
& BTW it's a thread about Man utd not purely for just Man utd fans.
Good day to you sir
I cannot remember the ABUs being quite so vocal when Utd were genuinely bad under Moyes.
I take it as a sign that even they, despite their prejudice, can see what is coming down the tracks. It looks very much like Utd are on their way back, which means the window for loser teams to win the PL is closing fast.

A couple of friendlies and your 89m superstar having a good game against England constitutes your optimism? You know Utd are going to win the league soon enough and that they will finish above your losers next season. So your moaning about Pogba not being as good as two Andy Carrolls is getting boring. ORD said:

In other news City have now spent £102 million on two defenders.
They've spent 130m on FB's this summer. Crazy. Long gone are the days of developing a team for the clubs at the top. It's just get the cheque book out.
How long do you think before we have an elite super league ?
Inevitable.
It's pure statistics.
The chance of one of the top clubs being able to identify and train sufficient numbers of good enough players through its academy system is vanishingly small.
Once the world talent pool is broad enough and the standard high enough, of course a few academies out of thousands cannot produce even half the top players.
These players are genetic freaks. Freaks are rare and usually spread widely and thinly.

We seem to be the only ones that in the top 7 running their football team sensibly .

Why do you see your approach as "sensible". You've won nothing as yet. You seem obsessed with piling up money in the bank and not spending any. This isn't automatically a sensible approach for any business, let alone one that trades on winning trophies. How long do you think before we have an elite super league ?
You underpay your players and are likely to see that team break up in the couple of years, plus I'd expect you to lose your manager to Real or Barca in the next two seasons as well.

If only life was this simple, Mourinho would still be at Chelsea winning league after league. But he isn't, he is winning the Capital One Cup etc. It's pure statistics.

Stadium costs have dictated the way your being run. In my opinion you've gambled on the current team staying together, as demonstrated by the recent spate of long term contracts. And your success will be down to this crop improving. Also a gamble but a sensible one given the obvious potential. United did similar when the talent of the class of 92 emerged. But we could afford to and did add top players to aid the development of the youngsters and the overall quality of the first team.
The window isn't closed so lots could happen yet but I'm far happier with the depth of squad I see Jose asemblng and his meticulous preparation. His flying starts with Chelsea changed the way Fergie approached preseason.
This preseason has been exactly what he wanted I'd be more worried about that than any transfer or fee if I wasn't a untied fan.
