Yes, but also, remember Rojo...
Rojo was very good when he played last season, came on leap and bounds under Jose. I like him, proper scrappy defender who would be the first in to a fight or defend a team mate nw28840 said:
Rojo is still far too rash with his decision making for my liking. I think he's out of position far too often, then too lazy to herd th attacker away from danger and looks to dive in. He always looks likely to give away a penalty !
I disagree, he looked much better last night. For me, he was our most consistent defender when he played.nw28840 said:

I think 89 million for Pogba is going to look a bargain soon...he's on another level
I watched the game. Agreed. He was excellent, the only one of our players really that looked comfortable enough on the ball.
Blind had a nightmare. Almost every pass went astray and he gave the ball away to allow Barca to break for the goal. Their front 3 are frightening at times. But that comes from Barca's bravery to keep players up the pitch all the time and their willingness to press using 2/3 players to squeeze the ball. It's simple tactics really but they are really good at it.
That said we had chances, they had chances and yet 1-0. The first half was excellent, but the whole game was enjoyable...if a little frustrating.

I like Rojo. Bailly and he are a bit rash but I reckon once Lindy settles down, we could play those three at the back. It would be errr exciting at times but if we can allow the wingers to play higher up the pitch, more of the time we'd have loads of success or failure, one of the two.

Same goes for Pogba i suppose, he was dodgy all last season too.
You all must be hoping he does better this season.
Football is obviously something people have different ideas about. I didn't think he was dodgy very often at all last season and it seemed to me that he was the most composed player on the pitch for 90% of the matches I watched. Still, we agree on the fact we're hoping he'll be better this season. Now he's adjusted to the PL and to Jose's methods he probably will be, which will be worrying for some. You all must be hoping he does better this season.

Signed for Galatasary. To my mind he never displayed the quality needed at the highest level.
United players have always been special, far too many in recent years have been mediocre and he was one.
Good luck to him but I can't see it as a negative for the team at all.
He got a lot of criticism from some fans, which I thought was a bit unfair. He's not good enough to play for the top teams, but always showed the right attitude and did the best he could. Good luck to him. United players have always been special, far too many in recent years have been mediocre and he was one.

Fellaini confirmed or just rumours? We must have someone, if not two, lined up before letting him go else we would be down to the bare bones /redknapp.
Good luck to him though if he is off, it's not his fault he doesn't have the technical ability we want to match up with the attitude which I do believe has always been good (despite the odd mental episode). He was dogged by association with Moyes, and being the only product of Woodwards dire first transfer window, don't think for a lot of fans he was ever going to escape those millstones. He is better than Galatasaray / Turkey though, surely?

In other news, the Spuds are still looking for a trophy. They got absolutely hammered by City. Could easily have been 7 or 8. But of course they played some glorious football, picking the ball out of the net and kicking off so many times. Got beaten by some very good football and by their own style of pressing game. Bodes well for them.
