I'm just enjoying watching United play good attacking football and actually look forward to weekend coming around again
Plus with all the ste we got on here during summer from the best 11 in the worlds team (plus the scouse ste) it's nice to see them playing st and struggling!!
Long may it continue
I agree entirely. Probably too soon to draw any conclusions, but certainly a lot more enjoyable than recent seasons so far.Plus with all the ste we got on here during summer from the best 11 in the worlds team (plus the scouse ste) it's nice to see them playing st and struggling!!

Yes, its way better. I saw somewhere that despite it only being mid September we have already scored 33% of the goals we managed in the entire 15/16 EPL season ... That damn Mourinho and his bus parking
You guys yourselves have been saying how dull the football has been in most games. ORD said:

A mixed bag. But that's inevitable when the opposition put 10 men behind the ball because they are scared of us. ORD said:
I know it's very early in the season, but lots of 'top sides' seem to be imploding.
Spurs cannot win at home (ignoring scraping a win against a pub side) and cannot even half fill the ground.
Liverpool have a pub team defence and spent £40m on AOC.
Arsenal are being Arsenal.
Is it already time to think about a Top 3 of the Manchester clubs plus Chelsea? The rest don't look to me to deserve to be mentioned in the same breath.
Way too early in the season. Every one of those 6 teams will have their good and bad patches. Spurs cannot win at home (ignoring scraping a win against a pub side) and cannot even half fill the ground.

A mixed bag. But that's inevitable when the opposition put 10 men behind the ball because they are scared of us. (1) The bad teams in the PL used to be a lot worse defensively than they now are.
(2) The bad teams in the PL used to be a lot worse attacking than they now are. You cannot now leave just 2 players back even against the average PL side.
(3) The bad teams in the PL are now vastly more defensive than they used to be. Back when I were a lad, even the relegation hopefuls would play a little bit of football and usually had 2 strikers. Now teams often start with literally no strikers and 3 defensive midfielders.

From what I remember (I may be wrong) but it was fans of other teams telling us we're bored of United's football rather than actual United fans saying it. I can't remember many or in fact any United fans saying the football is particularly boring.
Have a look on here during your last few matches i dont think im imagining it. Im not

Yeah, we were lucky there and certainly not 4 goals better on performance. I was surprised Gana was taken off, I thought he was doing really well for them in midfield and that seemed to me to be the turning point. We missed Pogba big time in there today, would have preferred to see Herrera come on 20 minutes sooner the way the game was going.

Weird isn't it? I don't see the performances so far this season as being much better really, but the results certainly are! It's just been that slight change in personnel, an increase in confidence and more clinical finishing that's made the difference.

Flattering score line ,lots of chances but more due to poor defending than good play.
But playing bad and winning ..that's the difference between challenging for titles and not.

Flattering. Could have gone either way before that mistake by them. Strong finish though.

Well, that was about as uninspiring as a 3-0 win can be. I blame the rain, which is a tad worrying. Zero atmosphere it seemed like, but job done.
Seems like subs do the business for us now, so next game make all 3 by 20 mins and we'll win 6 - nowt.

Less bad. Also not good enough for a team that wants to win stuff. This is as bad as I've seen us over the last few years. That's saying something.

It's Stoke away, many teams will struggle here, so a good test. We're failing it though at the moment.

Hard to see many positives. We didn't lose, but we were absolutely dreadful.

The positives are;
A) the game has ended,
B) the Scouse score.
What a pile of utter ste. I cannot understand those stupid f corners. Used to piss me off no end when we did that under LVG.
Very, very poor, lazy performance. Stoke did well in the second half and deserved to win it.

We weren't great but stoke played very well.

For all the less than dazzling play by our full-backs, how ste has Mhiki got to be before he gets the hook? He's lost the ball every single time it's come to him! His stats so far today must easily be the worst of any United player this season.
We need a goal early doors in the second half to draw them out a bit and give us space to play.

Almost everyone has been poor. Lukaku has looked like a drunken Peter Crouch at times - no idea where his feet are or what to do with them. Pogba has barely done a thing.
Dross performance so far. Classic post-international break game, maybe.
im bored now but thats just going back a few games and none are from WUMS, ABUS or whatever you want to call them. Dross performance so far. Classic post-international break game, maybe.
