It is. Winning the title is what matters, nobody has said otherwise and we can but dream. Thankfully, we seem to have progressed this season, so progress is being made.

Your best team for 60 years and your happy for the league to be over by Xmas according to bcm.
It is little wonder you win nothing if that attitude permeates the club.
2nd isn’t anything ,people don’t remember who was runner up.Its an acceptable position if you are improving but once you have achieved that you have to step on otherwise that 2nd place was pointless .
I’d be very happy to finish 2nd this Season but only on the basis that we improved on it the next season.

No double standards here then, Spurs have their best PL season ever finishing 2nd = 1st loser bottlers, the most successful team in England finish second = big improvement, winning mentality

you couldn't make this stuff up. I guess thats the difference between United and Spurs fans, a sense of reality..

2nd is an improvement, it's not success.

Success would be winning trophies, preferably the league or CL.

2nd would be a good result for Utd this season. I would be pleased with it.

I wouldnt call it "success", though, because (at least to Utd fans), success comes with trophies attached. It may be different for fans of sides that win nothing.

You should’ve won it in 2015, but completely bottled it and ended up finishing third in a two horse race. Last year, you choked again when it mattered, but managed to at least hold on to 2nd. You’re not progressing this year and if you’re not moving forward, then............
