I'd be happy with Virgil and Matip as first choice CBs, Lovren and Klavan as third and fourth choice. We also have Gomez who could do some cup games as CB too. Maybe look at the lad from Burnley as one for the future too?
Why not 1 more for luck laugh
Well, Klavan is going to be 32 by the time next season rolls around. We might get one more season out of him. Would hate to miss out on a talent such as Keane.

"Diario Gol claim that Bale has told the Liga giants to secure Woodburn’s signature, or risk losing out to Barcelona."

Eh? So that's that then. Woodburn is off, is he?! lolol Utter tosh.

Either of them can have him for £50m+add ons hehe

Woodburn isn't going to get enough pitch time with us next season. We really should loan him to Huddersfield if they manage to come up.

With Leicester out, Utd or Arsenal now need to finish in the top four to stop us playing in the Champions League next season.

Can you really see Keane coming to sit on a bench ?

I think there will be one big money signing centre back that will compete with Lovren and Matip. More than likely it will be paid for by the sale of Sakho so it won't really affect our transfer budget.

Imo if we genuinely want to see Gomez develop under such a setting it's better that we send him on loan and keep Klavan as 4th choice cover for another season.

What so sell Sakho say 25m pay 40/50m for Virgil, have Lovren as 3rd 4th fighting it out with a 30m Keane??

You have been playing to much fantasty football Jammy

How can we afford 30m on a guy who might be 3rd or 4th choice ? surely our budget this summer is better spent on other position than buying someone just so no one else can buy him - we are not chelsea laugh

if we go for Keane it would be to be in our 1st team ahead of anyone else - like Virgil

No chance I'd pay £30m for Keane. £20m tops - which is how much we've spent on Sakho and Lovren!

Though granted, having 5 CBs might be a bit greedy...

Simple then you are not getting a current England CB who is 24 for 20m

He is betteer than Stones who was 50m laugh

Once we've replaced Sakho I'd rather we then bought a full back rather than another centreback. Someone that can rotate with Clyne or Milner. My preference is Milner and give some more pitch time next season to AA.

Is Virgil any good? How much is he likely to cost? I've never seen the lad play.

I read an article somewhere that Luke Shaw would a perfect fit at LB for us and Kopp could work on his confidence/form.
Not sure that would ever happen though...
Would like to see Milner play all or most games for us, either at LB or midfield.

Would be happy with that lad from Fulham to play understudy to Milner and TAA to rotate with Clyne next year.

Where is Gomez's natural position?
I assume Flanno will never come back.

Be brutal - lets hope not, he is not good enough for a team trying to win the league and stay in the top 4

Yet some LFC fans are still convinced he is good enough for us as he is scouse and puts the odd crunching tackle in laugh

He was a decent prospect but injuries have really hampered his progress. I suspect he'll end up at best in the championship.
