I've been surprised how many crosses Milner has managed to get into the box with his left foot, considering he is predominantly a right-footed player.

Such a shame that his body has let him down. In his pomp he was the best 9 in the league.

Don't believe the bullst about him only being good because of Suarez, he was a fine, fine playerin his own right.

It must have been tough for Rodgers to cope with the loss of both Suarez and Sturridge in quick succession.

Very good striker and a natural finisher. Just too damn fragile, sadly. Or not happy to play when in any pain (which is Gerrard's view).

Sturridge trained today. Firmino and Lallana are also undergoing individually managed programmes to make sure they are brought to a peak for Watford on Monday night.

Probably because he knows pain leads to injury; he doesn't trust his body. Ah well, he's gone soon.

We should get John Terry's mum in as a replacement. She looks like a natural finisher...

I agree, I like the new kit. Thought the Standard Chartered logo should be a bit lower down.

First modern shirt I'd even consider buying (usually retro only). Good job.

I will get that, my favourite shirt I play in is the 1995/6 home shirt!

Being as old as he is you would have thought a retro kit with BCM would have gone down well - must be too fitted though wink
