Not that I can see the Casillas actually happening (and nor do I really want it to considering his wage), I'd much rather stick with Mings as number 1 and have Karius as this seasons back-up and for some of the cup games.
Looking forward I actually think Danny Ward is a better prospect than Karius, especially considering they're bizarrely the exact same age (both born 22 June 1993). Best case scenario would be for Huddersfield to get promoted in the play off final and for him to have another season there and gain premier League experience.

Right so how many appearances has Migs got for us in the 1st team - what was his weakness, crosses and decision making , we take him out the team then there is massive importance put on working on those areas with him in training, he comes back in and suddenly he has improved massively - was that from being in the 1st team or was that from being dropped and extra work being put in with him where he was weak ?
Sure Mings has improved immensely - but that is not to say that Karius will. Mings had a lot a game time under his belt, so yes he went away worked on his game and has come back. Karius on the other hand has had minimum PL game time, effectively a year out of the game. Give him the platform to perform on the big stage and offset the risk - if he flops, sell him. If he turns out to be amazing, get him back in the Liverpool team. Right now if Mings gets injured and Karius hasn't improved - then we will be effectively be stuck with someone for potentially a large number of games. Teams will target him, putting the lad under more pressure. In the big games, we need experience.

Well I am sure JK knows a little more than us and will do what he wants to do not what he reads on PH Right now if Mings gets injured and Karius hasn't improved - then we will be effectively be stuck with someone for potentially a large number of games. Mignolet was already a decent keeper in the Premier League when we bought him. Karius was a £4 million pound punt.
I agree, loan him somewhere and bring in experience if we can. Better than risking Karius. He can get some experience elsewhere. If he's good enough then fine, if not we can move him on and lose less than Mario's bonus.

You mean moving Coutinho deeper wasn't down to Klopp reading my thoughts on here?
On a more serious point, would you keep Coutinho in the midfield 3 next season?
I think it suits his style of play where he likes to run from deep and dribble with the ball. Gives us another formation of attack, coupled with him as part of a front 3 when required. On a more serious point, would you keep Coutinho in the midfield 3 next season?

Yes I like him there, but I also like him in a front 3 so I am happy wherever .....On a more serious point, would you keep Coutinho in the midfield 3 next season?
The more teams we play who sit deep the more players we need like him in the middle thats for sure....

good shout, trouble is Utd are after him, although they gave up on him onceVirgil van Dijk? although others interested again
I don't watch other Euro leagues so have limited knowledge but I think we need more guile and defence unlockers - so Mahrez or Payet?

How much were people thinking we could get Sigurdsson for? Apparently Everton have just agreed a £25m fee and he wants £120k/week in wages...
This needs to be remembered when any signings and new contracts are announced.Real Madrid have just paid a stupendous amount for a teenager who has not played a senior game yet.
