Well if we're bidding wrote may as well be serious about it. Look where he'd be if he'd not taken the piss with Suarez.

No one is going to buy Ings right now.

Some irony here - a former Liverpool centre half is now manager at Southampton - Mauricio Pellegrino.

So who's going to buy a striker that has been out for 2 seasons?

Origi has come out and said he wants to play more regularly. Sturridge has been injured/sidelined for nearly all the time Klopp has been here.

If we're really bidding 100 million on a striker then its pretty obvious where some of it will be raised from.

Well then offer the 120 million. By the time Sturridge and Origi are sold it will be 80 million.

Keep Milner at left back. Keep the goal keepers, keep the existing central midfield. Buy a centre back with the Wisdom and Sakho money.

After all the sales we will have spent no more than 100 million over 4 windows
How about you wait till the end of the window before getting chippy about your own predictions.

We just signed Salah - great week and getting business done early.

I can't see us losing squad depth now we're back in the Champions League. At most we're going to sell one player in each position we bring in.

I've already said Salah was a good signing.

How about you accept that in a forum where the only action is going to be who is bought and who is sold, people are going to talk about just that.

I think if we buy a new striker than at least of one of Sturridge or Origi will be sold. I'm not sure how that makes my prediction 'chippy'.

I actually read the original post as selling Sturridge AND Origi. My bad. Its possible Origi might go, I think, if he's unhappy. Sturridge has said he's very happy to stay - perhaps knowing he will only get so many games a season and until his contract runs down, he may as well make the most of it.

Because you had to reference our net spend of only 100 million in your maths of a scenario you invented.

I couldn't give a st about our net speed if we buy right and sell right.

You're too focussed on the spend amount and pure the only one who has mentioned and the WINDOW HASNT EVEN OPENED YET.

Every fking transfer window you're the same - you post more in the transfer windows than off of them.

We've bought a promising new talent and someone good - who cares about the net spend

I think you're spot on. Origi rightly wants more game time at his age - so may want to leave to get that. Not even sure we need a replacement as Solanke and Ings may be enough to cover the occasional time that Sturridge would see or offer a different option when needed. Not forgetting Woodburn too.

You weren't wrong, RT did talk about selling them both.

I'm focused on net spend because of FSGs past spend.

The window opening or not is irrelevant. Plenty of business already done.

I'm not sure that I post more at any one time than not. Regardless it's really not any of your concern. You need to calm down I think. I'm not saying anything that plenty if others aren't speculating over also.

Absolutely. Sturridge is a sick note. He also doesn't suit Klopp's style. I'm not sure where the faith in him has come from. If West Ham came in for him with anything over 25 million I'd have I'm wrapped in bandages and hire the Chelsea doctor to do his medical.

Origi has said he wants more game time. He's not going to get it here the way he wants and if we were to buy a £100 million striker (plenty of reports saying we've bid) then he'd get even less game time.

I'm comfortable with my position that if we bring in a world class new striker then our 4 forwards are

- new striker
- Firmino
- Solanke
- Ings

If Origi wants more game time then he can step up and show us that he deserves that game time in the squad.

I agree with you on Sturridge, IF we buy another striker then I'm more than happy to sell him.

I wouldn't sell both though, I don't see why would would?

Ah, fair enough. That is batst bonkers. Won't happen, unless we're bringing in a proven striker who can replace both.

We'd certainly need that "new striker" given the others in that list, and they'd have to be a first choice one, too.

And if the quick to jump on anything I say posters had read what I actually said it was this.

If we bring in a 100 million pound striker....

There is a separate conversation about whether our current striking options are good enough to go into next season with.
