Ok, time to perhaps be confrontational. Do you think when the owners went to Barcelona earlier in the year that they did the deal on Countinho there and then and he was always going to go. That would make it easier for me to understand FC having big money to spend on Keita suddenly.

On Can, I don't know why but I have never thought of him as a true LFC player. I have nothing against him, like him and his play but never felt as though he fitted into the team so for me, if he went then it's not the end of the world.

Why have we suddenly got money to spend? we were +10m last year in the trasnfer window, this year we have an extra 100m from tv on top of what you would expect us to spend in a normal summer (net) say 30/40m - + what we make back in sales

Can has the potential to be in our team, he is still very young and already on the fringes of the german national team - if he is good enough for them he is good enough for us.

It does make me wonder. When we sold Suarez we were insisted we weren't going to, but we were in for Sanchez. The clubs position was that we wanted to have both, but I always thought Sanchez was a replacement for Suarez.

Echoes of that happening now. Apparently we don't want to sell Coutinho, but I'm not sure how you fit Can, Henderson, Lallana, Coutinho, Keita, Firmino, Salah, Mane and possibly one of Sturridge, Origi and Ings into the same team.

I know we need strength in depth, but I really do think Keita is a replacement for Coutinho, in this window or the next.

So the price is £130 million. If we can prize Keita for £90 million. Add the £35 on Salah, £60 million perhaps on VvD and the 10 on the young lad from Chelsea and Hull that will mean we've spent around 200 million.

From sales we'll bring in from Moreno, Sakho, Lucas, Wisdom, Stewart possibly Can and also Coutinho.

We're going to be in profit. Never mind last year's profit or the tv money or the champions league money. As businessmen, you've got to admire them. As a fan, I'd want them to blow 100 million on a forward in addition to VvD, Salah and Keita.

Klopp does not want a forward though - he is more than happy with firmino so its a bit silly to keep drumming on about it RT ?? NONE OF US can change it

Look at Mbappe rumours he is going for 180m its just fking crazy - who could we go for to complement our play - he and the Dortmund guy dont get on so forget that (according to reports)

How many games has Coutinho won for Liverpool over the last few years. We cannot let him go without a proven replacement already on the roster.

Personally, I wouldn't sell him in this window or the next. Even if Keita did come, I'd want confidence he could do a job. Coutinho is too good and too valuable.

No 1 wants an unhappy player in the camp though - a PC giving 80% is going to help no 1

Yet that's the way it will be reported.

How much on total did we sell players for minus how much did we spend on bringing players in.

And Sye, I agree that Klopp sees Firmino as central to his plans. The problem is that he's the only forward that suits Klopp's style of play. Also with Coutinho going, Firmino will play in the wider positions too.

Ings, Origi and Sturridge aren't suited or can't be relied on to stay fit. I'd clear all of them out given the chance.

If we sell Coutinho, and it now looks out of our hands, we need to bring in someone who is going to get 10 goals and 10 assists.

Have you forgot we brough Salah in ?

Our front 3 was always going to be

Mane Firmino Salah or other way round depending on how Klopp plays them
