Our front 3 was always going to be

Mane Firmino Salah or other way round depending on how Klopp plays them

So who do we really have that can come in and play in these 3 positions well enough in the squad?

Any other wide player with pace?
Any other forward that has the work rate of Firmino?

If we were genuinely in for Keita to complement Coutinho then imo you can't not try to bring in someone who will get you Coutinho's goals and assists.

Coutinho has only just signed a 5 year deal with no release clause. It's absolutely up to us whether we sell him this summer or not.

As for Coutinho replacing Neymar at Barcelona - yesterday the story was that Neymar had told Barcelona and PSG that he would play for the club that signed Coutinho so they could play together!

Unless he does what Vvd and Keita might do which is refuse to play and be disruptive to the team.

At the moment, we don't seem to have many people looking for the likes of Sturridge, Sakho etc so no money has come in yet. If we do get our targets, they will get silly offers as the other clubs know we need to get some money back. As usual everyone is waiting for everyone else so it will be a mad scramble at the end

Forgot to add, I would keep Sturridge as he looks much fitter this summer and he can turn a game in an instant, he will also be worth more if we can get a good season out of him

From sales we'll bring in from Moreno, Sakho, Lucas, Wisdom, Stewart possibly Can and also Coutinho.

We're going to be in profit. Never mind last year's profit or the tv money or the champions league money. As businessmen, you've got to admire them. As a fan, I'd want them to blow 100 million on a forward in addition to VvD, Salah and Keita.

That means we are down on squad depth on what you have previously called a "wafer thin squad"?
