First pass to Firmino, excellent overlap with some pace and a decent cross in between the goalkeeper and defenders in which Salah nearly got to.

Looking forward to seeing more of him this half.

He definitely looks like an upgrade on Moreno and considering we've bought him for less than what we're looking to sell Moreno for, I'd say a good bit of business.

If all we signed between now and the end of August is VvD, I for one would be happy with our transfer business. Sorted out key areas and whilst we probably still lack a true playmaker, we have enough midfielders including Coutinho to at least cover the midfield. Playing Coutinho in midfield against teams that pack 10 men behind the ball could potentially make a difference.

I'm not the only one who is wondering why we're risking playing someone who has no future here.

I thought the Hull reject looked good going forward, especially as he has a natural left foot. Not sure about his defending yet but I'm comfortable forming an opinion that he's worth risking selling Moreno in case Klopp wanted one last look.

I like to put some thought into it, usually do something with the words. Hollywood Haggis was a favorite of mine.

I'd have preferred a more established left footed first choice full back. But I think its obvious to anyone with eyes that are willing to see, FSG will not spend the money.

The way Coutinho shrugged off a few players first. He looks like he was made to play in a midfield 3. Will definitely make a difference from here against teams that put 10 men behind the ball. Hopefully we somehow keep him. Definitely season defining...

I've already outlined several big purchases over every single year FSG have owned us, but feel free to continue ignoring them in your own little world.
