Well Salah has been impressive in pre season, so any players coming in at twice the price or more I think should be able to win games on their own without the rest of the team even trying. Over spending otherwise... Total tight arses.

Our squad was wafer thin when the season ended. I think we all agreed on this. As it stands we have an extra full back, an extra attacker and perhaps a striker. We've brought in 3 players of which 2 will go into the regular match day squad.
We've meanwhile sold Lucas, Stewart and Wisdom. I'd say only Lucas is worth bothering counting. Moreno will also be gone.
So we're Salah up so far in terms of squad depth. Maybe Klopp is OK with that but if we've bid for VvD and Keita then I believe that Klopp thinks we are short in those 2 positions still. And that is without Can or Coutinho being sold.

RT, if you say what everyone is thinking is it not normal they will go "I agree"? Rather than disagree with you? Every so often there is certainly good points you make (we all agree Moreno needs to go for example) but you literally say everyone is rubbish at some point, and so of course you'll often be right.

Moreno seems to be a bit (albeit lower quality) like Sterling. Does well in quite a few areas, but has a major weakness for their position. The problem with Sterling was he couldn't score goals which is a bit of a problem for an attacking midfielder. Moreno can't defend, which is a bit of an issue for a defender.

As for Henderson, if we had bagged Keita, then no way would he be in our first 11. And for a captain that is not a good thing.
I never wanted Benteke here, I thought his style wouldn't fit. As much as I think Sturridge is a quality striker, I would move him on. We don't play to his strengths and he's injury record speaks for itself.

You'd also have sold Suarez back in 2012 (I just thought to check since you basically say it about every single player, so had you said it about our best player for many years. If no one comes in with a bid for Moreno I can see him sticking around and playing on the left wing in cups or something like that, infront of Joe Gomez maybe or a 343.
I know it's only pre season but i'm looking forward to Coutinho in that deep midfield role with Salah, Mane and Firmino infront of him asking for the ball. The movement from them three with the vision from Phil should bag us a few goals.
The main worry we all had was a stronger defence.
Clyne, Matip, VvD and Robertson would look an alrite defence going into the season. Milner, Lovren, Klavan, TAA, Gomez and Moreno seem to be the cover.
One month to sell Sakho. I just hope we get VvD as if we don't, defensive cover doesn't look great with no imprvement.
