Oh apologies, we won the league cup. On penalties against some nobodies. How could I forget Charlie Adam's spot kick? I was there. He was awful, I but you thought he was a great signing didn't you.

Dalglish got sacked, he was a relic from a past time who should never have been offered the job permanently. Get over it.

Rafa competed at the top in a time of competition. Utd still strong, Chelsea formidable under Moreno, Arsenal still a force and an emerging Manchester City. He thumped Madrid, beat Barca away with Arbeloa debuted and had Messi in his pocket. Again I was there when we sang we won in Catalina, Everton shop in Matalan. How times have changed.
The great Klopp hasn't managed to win anything, so seems he could learn some lessons from a washed up relic?

I don't mean anything against Rafa - just when he was there we were pretty much confirmed top 4. Now there is 6 into 4 in the League.

He is not responsible for transfers. It's up to the club to identify targets. Tell me, what targets have they identified in the 4 windows under Klopp? Matip on a free and a left back from Hull.
Oh? When did that change? I distinctly remember you saying Rodgers did crap signings and that was part of the reason he should go. Now FSG have taken over all responsibility and the manager gets no blame?

Good to know yet again how much of a hypocrite you are (descriptive, not insult).

That isn't on Klopp mate and you know it. He is not responsible for transfers. It's up to the club to identify targets.

You think we had a lot available to sign VvD. I think it was a ruse. FSG were just toying and fked up the signing on purpose.
Do you realise how much of a loon that makes you sound?

You genuinely believe that FSG manufactured a situation that embarrassed the club in the eyes of the whole world, leading to them personally, not the club, them personally, having to make a grovelling humiliating apology, in order to not buy a player?

Seriously?

You may not like them, but your hatred is clouding your judgement.

We don't exactly have a long line of buyers for either....

Sakho at £25M or so is a steal in the current market. I'm amazed clubs aren't queuing up for him.

If he was at Newcastle (or Southampton wink ) I'd be wanting us to snap him up at that price.

I agree. I can't believe we wouldn't accept £25m for him and I can't believe there isn't a club with that cash. Must be something about him that is putting clubs off?

His posts render this thread unusable - it should be a great place for a general discussion and some light banter. Instead we have the same old st over and over and over. Always with a bête noir at the centre of his deranged complaints.

Add in the fact that he is a cry baby who runs to the mods as soon as anyone has a dig and we have.... well we have what we have.

It really is a load of old bks.

It does seem rather like Groundhog Day in here.

As for the tenuous accusations being bandied about, you'd also think billionaires are not in the habit of deliberately and very publicly humiliating themselves and their business.

Clearly FSG made him say that to cover up their own devious plans. Or something... hehe

Because it's been FSG moaning everyday since I first posted. Same thing over and over again. Its clear I'm not alone in thinking that.

That BS net spend figure doesn't include Siggy either I believe. So they are up around 80.
It looks a little low, but it's not around 80, I think it's about £50m. Don't forget we sold Lukaku, got £8m or so for Cleverly, Barca paid £10m for Del Boy, West Brom paid £1m for Gary Barry

You need to get over it. You can't be abusing other posters. You got warned by a mod, deal with it.

Yes, I believe that FSG tried to low ball VvD. And when they failed it all went to pot.

Who is more the loon? Me thinking this or FSG deciding they can buy a player at a price they set, in payment instalments they've determined without even speaking to the club they're buying the player from?

What was it a few years ago. Remy's failed medical only for Chelsea to sign him. In for players like Draxler in January that when they suddenly become available in the summer, we're now not interested in.

Whilst all the time the income in to the club is increasing. And I'm the loon for pointing out what is obvious for all to see. FSG are here to make money, anything else is a bonus.

Well everyday seems familiar in this thread. Thought it would change once the season started but it hasn't. Hopefully the closure of the window will precipitate change.
